This is a wonderful walk, suitable for most if the ground isn't really wet. The round trip is about 4 miles leaving from the golf clubhouse area at the Lodge. When we went, the Lodge and golf course were closed for renovation, but we had no trouble parking in the clubhouse lot and hiking from there. An employee directed us... More

This is a beautiful hike/walk. You follow the beach and then hike up to ridge and back down to ocean. Go early to avoid the heat! Bring a bottle of water and enjoy the beauty of the Island.

We got a Koloiki Ridge guide at the lodge. I read a blog about the hike the night before hiking...I am glad I did. The blog suggested we stop and pick up a walking stick against the fence before #4. There had been a big storm on Lanai 2 days ago. He trail was very wet but still passable. The... More

We took this hike through the Four Seasons' hotel. We were staying at the beach, so took the shuttle up to the Lodge and were met by Kevin who guided us. The hike is 5 miles so be sure to set aside 2 hours unless you intend on running. Moderate level difficulty--the most difficult part was steering clear of the... More

Short and easy hike. You can get a trail map from the four seasons hotel front desk without being a guest. Spectacular view from top of Maui, Molokai and multiple valleys of Lanai

This trail is behind the Lodge at Koele. Just ask the concierge for directions/trail map. It is well signed. Even after raining it wasn't really muddy. Most of it is perfect for a trail run (a bit of up and down though). It has good views at the end. It took me about 1.5 hours but will take 2-2.5 hrs... More

We took the Koloiki Ridge hike while staying at the Four Seasons Lodge at Koele. Friends of ours had stayed here before and highly recommended the hike. We weren't disappointed. The trail was well marked, with varied terrain, plants, trees and animals (we saw lots of birds and a group of rams). The best part was the view at the... More

The up and down, then sideways, well-marked, sometimes slippery trail through tropical forest brought us to marvelous views of Koliki Ridge and Canyon as well as distant Moloka'i and Maui.

Hike through several different micro-climates, huge Eucalyptus trees and make your way to amazing views of valleys and vistas. It only takes a couple of hours and is a very easy hike for the most part. I wore running shoes and they didn't get trashed at all. But, if there was a lot of rain, some areas could get a... More

Very nice rugged hike, lots of uphill and downhill so I would call it a moderate hike, wear good shoes since it can be rocky, muddy and slippery. Nice view at the end of it's so well worth it. Bring food and water since it's at least 2.5 hours round trip, If you get hungy look for the many guava... More
