A dramatic landscape

Make sure you have a good vehicle to go down the road to get here. A 4x4 is a must. The landscape when you finally get there is amazing. Also, make sure to bring plenty of water... read more

An easy drive out to Garden of the Gods. (of course the road was dry and we did it on a day with no wind) There are some information signs. One says "DO NOT STACK THE ROCKS" and yet several guest stacked the rocks which drive the locals upset. It is an important area and please respect what is not... More

After a ride on a bumpy muddy road with nothing to look at but where pineapples used to be grown, the garden was simply number of boulders on a muddy hill. Not worth the trip.

We went at the end of the day, charming because we were alone and saw lots of deer on the way there, but in fact there aren't so many special rocks compared to the other "gardens of the gods" all over the world.

It was a bumpy ride with no other vehicles in sight. The signage was minimal and at times, we were not sure if we were on the right road. Once in a while, we'd see a small sign that would indicate that we were heading in the right direction. Luckily it was a clear, sunny, dry day so the redness... More

Not much here. We were expecting some larger rock formations. Being from Arizona, this looked a lot like home.

You have to rent a Jeep to go to this place. It's a muddy road to the garden with a lot of bumps. It was more like an adventure, the garden it self it's not all that but it's interesting how the rocks are just laying around like that. if you are in the area definitely a must.

If you are on Lanai this is something you really should take the time to do. Its a quick drive through sort of thing. It does feel other-worldly and is a cool backdrop for photographs.
