We had a lovely day stopping at all the lookouts but drove ahead a bit to the end of the road for an amazing view of the the Na'Pali coast and water. We took a short hike at the end and were treated to the views opening even more; spectacular. It was gorgeous for our entire hike and sight seeing... More

It was a nice drive to the dry, west side of Kauai giving us an opportunity to check out more of the island. This was a beautiful natural site to behold. It is not the Grand Canyon, but it is quite an amazing site in its' own rite. Picking the right time to make the drive can be a gamble... More

I was surprised how easy it was to drive to the end of the Waimea Canyon road (KoKee State Park). It takes a while, but it's worth it, and any car can do it! That said, we happened to visit on a cloudy day. Although it was sunny at sea level, the clouds were thick on top of the mountain.... More

A wonderful place to visit. amazingly beautiful scenery. A nice relaxing drive, so quiet and cool due to altitude.

This is a wonderful excursion, with many photographic moments. At the end of your walk, there is a waterfalls pool to go swimming in. There are free life jackets, which u must use or NO swimming. There is a changing room before the bridge. The scenery is spectacular, lots of photo ops. No fee's for parking, extra discount for those... More

Our goal next trip will be to do one of the hikes. This trip we decided to drive all the way until the road ended and stop at every lookout on the way with lunch at the last one. We had a luau to attend that evening and I'm pregnant, so we chose the safe car route :) Just a... More

Much like other drives on the island, there was nothing about this drive to the canyon that wasn't fabulous. The views to the left and right of the vehicle was picture worthy. The scenic overlook at the top of the canyon was amazing.
