This is a great place to take pictures and to see the mountains and the water. Again this place is out of the way so plan to dedicate at least a couple of hours to get there and see the sights.

Even if you don't take the hike, stops at the two viewpoints right off the road, is a must. We saw rainbows on the ocean under the grand setting of the Na Pali Mountains.

Went on a great hike from the campground. It is not well marked but what a wonderful "jungle tour" including massive redwoods!! About a 4 mile hike

At the end of the road is this view. It was clear in the early morning. To get here, drive past the canyon lookout road and you will come here about 20 minutes later. Beautiful view!

So, I understand the climate changes in a matter of seconds on the island and that's what makes it unique. Unfortunately, when we visited it was a light rain, with clouds... But you can appreciate being on top of the mountain, feel the tranquility, watch the birds, and feel the breeze on your face... Awwwww

The views, its all about the views. Weather is unpredictable up here it rains and can clear up in a few moments and then the rainbows! If you want great pictures bring your tripod.

The views of the coast are so beautiful they seem unreal. Great hiking but be careful. I've hiked all over the Sierra Mountains, Cascades, and Appalachians. This trail was the scariest thing I've ever done. A portion of the trail was choked with 6 foot tall grass we had to pick our way through all the while hoping we were... More
