It was ok, but only go if you have extra time and are close. May be better at high tide, but I expected more of a dramatic burst of water at this blowhole.

We discovered this "hole" on one of our trips to Poipu... At the time, we were wondering why all the tour buses were driving up the street and had to see for ourselves! I thought, "cool we have a tourist attraction just up the street from our place, how cool is that!"..... Aaaaaah, right. I saw a hole in the... More

Nice overlook to the blow hole, wish it was a little closer and at eye level. Don't need a lot of time to see this but it is an interesting phenomenon - saw better ones in Maine. Interesting vendors and reasonable priced jewelry on the way to the overlook - we spent more time with the vendors than watching the... More

I had no problem with the markets as I am a shopper and they sold lovely jewelry and such...But it does distract a bit from the natural beauty and wonder that is Spouting Horn. Not by much, though. Spouting Horn is a must-see. Be patient and wait for parking, which is busy but opens up fairly quickly as most folks... More

This is a cool thing -- we stopped and watch for about 15 minutes. Got some great pics -- not supposed to climb down on the rocks, but of course we did -- low tide!

The tide was low, so we didn't see much action. When we saw the spouts and heard the "dragon" noise it was pretty cool. They sell knickknacks over there, so you could get a souvenir.

Interesting views of the lava formations. Best at higher surf. Not too crowded. They are a few local vendors with souvenirs there. Worth the short drive.

It's an interesting geologic feature and I'd recommend stopping for a quick visit. That's the only thing it'll be though---a quick visit. I guess I was expecting some explanation there of what it was but there's nothing. Looking at the water spouting through the hole is pretty cool and the water spurts up on a regular basis so no waiting... More

Mainly this is just a geyser. It is cool to see, but there isn't much else going on right in that spot. If you are lumping this in with other stops on the island, its worth stopping for.

Bus tour stopped here for photo opportunity. Snapped a few shots, watched and heard the "spouting horn" for a couple of minutes. Walked thru small vendor tents
