For 10 years we have been coming to Kauai. We have our routines of where to eat first, where to hike first and the places that make our trip feel like being in a tropical home. The Poipu Shopping village is one of these places. Now that Kukui ula is just down the road I think people are forgetting what... More

The shopping village is on the smaller side but very nice. It has different types of shops and a couple of good eateries. It's definitely a great place if you're looking for Hawaii made souvenirs. Definitely worth a stop.

Great shopping village with traditional shops and cafe. Really enjoyed the dancing too. Small supermarket and little shops with some beautiful Hawaiian items.

You'll find everything from Starbucks to Whalers Village (convenience store) to restaurants and shopping here. The complex itself is a bit worn and could use a coat of paint and some better maintained foliage though. We have bought a bit of everything here: - coffee, chocolate, wine, Hawaiian salt, Kauai kombucha - souvenirs for both adults and kids (there's a... More

I'm not big on shopping and I don't like to buy souvenirs. However, the Poipu Shopping Village could entice me to do both! The novelty of each shop, the welcoming personality of the employees, and the clean, crisp look of each shop makes me want to stay and shop for hours. It turned out to be a perfect distance from... Most important find here is the restaurants - Keokis and Roys. Both are excellent and with the price.

This village has some great shops and restaurants. The shops offer great variety from specialist gift shops to a small supermarket style shop that sells everything from groceries to souvenirs. The small supermarket is the only place we can buy Maui Pineapple sparking wine apart from specialist wine shops. Crazy Shirts is also based here and has such good quality... More

A small shopping complex not too far from the beach. A fair choice of restaurants including both sit-down and take-aways. The torches are lit at night which looks pretty. Some interesting shops, including one that sells bamboo clothing items, but all rather pricey.

If you want to get Hawaiian made products to take home this is a great place to shop. There are a number of stores to choose from. Some of the stores are upscale and very expensive, lots of food vendors (sit down restaurant and fast food), and a business selling sightseeing tours. In other words, a little bit of everything... This is a shopping village for real stores and real clothes, not souvenirs for friends and family back home. Everything here is expensive. If you are looking for cheap souvenirs or more reasonably priced items, check out ABC Store or Unique which is right next door on Rice street in Lihue. I saw on here to go to Walmart for... More
