This is a great beach and it's perfect for kids. Dont be surprised when the monk seals or turtles show up and want to share your beach space :) A perfect spot for beginners and kids to snorkel.

A lot of the locals come here. So it is more crowded than our hotel resort beach is much nicer. Great for picnics.

Good beach. Great waves. You can hike around the beach up on the cliffs and get a great view of the sunrise. The parking is limited.

Beaches for toddlers to waves for surfers. Great snorkeling, reefs, estuaries and tide pools. Seals have visited every time we stay for a week.

Come sun up, this is the place to be. Usually quiet until later in the afternoon and on weekends. Locals like to come here to let off daily steam, and although fun to watch, it is slightly dicey at times on a weekend night if the island bikers come rolling into the area.

We didn't arrive until later in the day and were able to get a parking spot without a problem. The current was a bit strong, but we were able to snorkel to the right of the rocks. We saw more fish than we thought we would. My kids enjoyed hanging out on the island/sandbar. It was nice to have bathrooms... More

Great beach for snorkeling. It is slightly different now after the storm took some of the rocks and coral away. But still lots of fish and the other side of the cove is good for bogie boarding. Good for families. Has lifeguard and bathrooms.

Love the beach park which has plenty of grass to stroll along on. Also has some rocks to sit on while looking for turtles. Only took about 2 minutes until I spotted my first turtle. It was swimming right up to the body surfers. Seems like the best place on island to spot turtles. Store right across the street makes... More
