The shelteredside of the water is great for small childred and the open ocean side is good for snorkeling and swimming. You often see turtles and/or seals at this beach. It has lifeguards seems pretty safe.

We spent a couple of mornings hanging out at this beach. It is absolutely beautiful. Fairly calm waters while we were there. We saw sea turtles on our walk along the water. There were a lot of snorkelers and some surfers a ways out too. It did get crowded later in the morning but that didn't really bother me. There... More

There's a beach area protected from waves for the keiki and another area that is less protected but it has a good sandy beach and area for snorkeling.

Couldn't believe how many fish and turtles we saw. I am not a strong swimmer and am a novice snorkler, felt perfectly safe swimming/snorkling at this beach!

This park is beautiful but is bustling with sea life. We saw so many fish it the tide pools and sea turtles. Just walking and watching the sea life and the waves was amazing. We went to this beach multiple times. Not a lot of people either.

I died when we arrived at this beach! It was absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of parking, a playground, sand bars, picnic benches - saw lots of people snorkeling. My 2 year old daughter and I walked around the shallow end and she loved it! The water was crystal clear! We saw fish swimming and crabs walking on the rocks. We ate... More

Really pretty beach with large park. Not crowded. Sheltered places to snorkel and open places to catch a wave. Nice sand. Very few shells when we were there.
