Kiawai Golf that is Affordable and Forgiving

You'll find wide fairways in an un-intimidating layout. Some water holes, but not many sand traps for a course that can be enjoyed by the average golfer or big hitters! The greens... read more

The course is OK. It's not a barn burner. However, their customer service is awful. Their ad says you can book after 3:00 pm for a discount and play as many holes as you can. What the ad doesn't say is that everyone gets a 3:00 pm tee time no matter how many sign-up and you go off in the... More

I like to think of myself as a decent golfer and played at Kiahuna twice this week. Wow, it can get you in trouble from the easy looks of this course. Unless you have every club dialed in to what it should do you will be awesome (but you probably already know that if you can put the ball where... More

Played our first round of the trip at Kiahuna - our first time. Wide open course without a lot of trouble. Fairways and greens in good shape. Bunkers, not so much. $95 rate (includes golf and cart, but does not include range balls). This would not be a $95 track anywhere else, but I guess it is a bargain here.... More

You'll find wide fairways in an un-intimidating layout. Some water holes, but not many sand traps for a course that can be enjoyed by the average golfer or big hitters! The greens and fairways are all well manicured in a setting with mountain and ocean views. I played the course for the first time without a score card and used... More

I went to Kiahuna Golf Club last minute on Thanksgiving morning because it was close to my hotel and could be back in time for Thanksgiving dinner at the Sheraton. It was relatively cheap for golf in Hawaii at $85 for a morning tee time on a holiday. The layout was interesting because it had sections of an old Kauaiian... More

Such a nice course, and they are offering a special on just now (September 2015) for just $75 per player...greens fee, cart with gps. Friendly staff and good food at Joes make this a great golf vacation spot. Course in decent condition overall and was uncrowded the 3 times we played there.

We saw no less than 3 rainbows while golfing here. Short bursts of rain, followed by brilliant sunshine. It still didn't amount to a pot of gold or hole-in-one but it was a nice course and the wind whipping off the ocean made it a challenge.

The course was in pretty good shape, do not care for the old, gas carts but they do have GPS. Very good restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The two starting holes are tough when the wind is blowing (as it usually does). After that it gets more manageable. Some of the condo associations have coupons, Bring water; only one spot.on... I play at Kiahuna every time (twice a year at least) I visit Kauai. The staff are warm and friendly and the course is a great "vacation" course. Not too hard but not too easy either. For those who don't mind the afternoon breeze, they have a $15 walking rate after 4pm for all you can play - worth it... More
