This is a nice Hilo Hatties, there are many others on other islands, but this IS the Hawaiian shop to go to. Beautiful Hawaiian clothing, and items to bring home. When you wear these clothes out, everyone knows the quality and where you purchased them. Watch out for the cruise ships. Find out what time they are docking, because when... More

When you walk in the door, you are welcomed with a Shell Lei. Love the Colorful Hawaiian clothing in Hilo Hatties. It is not just shirts. They have Beautiful Wedding Dresses with matching shirts for the men, childrens clothing, mugs, souvineers, etc.

If you are looking for small souvenirs or Hawaiian shirts, this is the place for you. The prices range from very low to very high, depending on the quality of clothing you select. The staff is friendly and the store is nice and clean and roomy. When you walk into the store you will be approached by the jewelry country... More

Worst customer service experience ever. Went in to shop for stuff for our kids, but no one helped us. When you enter, you get the hard sell to buy pearl jewelry. It was kind of neat to see the pearls come out of the oysters, but the woman who then tried to sell us jewelry was a very high pressure... More

Has a lot of items to interest any tourist. Some are priced higher than Walmart but you cannot find all these items in a Walmart. So if you are in a hurry and need some items quick this is the place to shop.

Hilo Hattie has more tourists and fewer locals than any shop in Hawaii. I found that I could purchase the same items for less at other shops on Kauai.

We went into the store where we were the only customers with, what we could see, were about half a dozen employees. A young lady did greet us as we entered. We roamed around the store without anyone asking if they could help us in any way. I finally asked a clerk behind the jewelry counter if we could get... More

The store has a pretty good selection of souvenirs including chocolates, trinkets, shirts, etc., but most seem overpriced and low quality compared to what you can get anywhere else including walmart. You are greeted at the door with a very aggressive sales pitch trying to push you into buying jewelry which is also overpriced and low quality.

After we finally found the round building, it was very cool. I found a lot of stuff I wanted, hat, shirt, coffee, etc. prices were reasonable. You have to go.

This shop is fun if you are looking to browse souvenirs and Hawaiian wear. They are kind of pricey though. I don't know if they still do but the gave out shell lei's every time you walked in the door. Nice little free gift from the islands. Clean store fun to explore it.
