Happy with purchase

Store is smaller than the one on Maui. But it doesn't matter if you find what you're looking for. My wife found the jewelry she's been looking for, so high rating for that... read more

We went to Hilo Hattie's 2 yrs ago, the selection was exactly the same. Very limited options for tween age group. The store smelled really moldy too.

It was dark when we were trying to find this store and we passed it 3 times before we found it, since there was ZERO outside lighting - not even a lighted sign! There were potholes and an uneven walk, both of which were dangerous in the dark. I've been to Hilo Hattie before and you're at least greeted with... More

We always enjoy shopping at Hattie's when we go to Hawaii. They have had many problems lately and have closed some stores. This one is still open and seemed to being doing some business the day we were there. Of course it helps when the tour buses stop there. I've shopped in a lot of touristy shops for Hawaiian shirts... Very nice greeting when you come in the door here quickly directed toward the jewelry counter where they give you a discount to get a pear and then expect you to buy some expensive setting for the pearl. Definitely a tourist trap. Everything is overpriced compared to other places on the island. Would not recommend coming here.

Nice clerks. Asked when the machine would be fixed but they said they didn't know. Come on Hilo Hattie's! You're making money hand over fist! Fix the machine!

This store has quite a selection of items. Hard to shop around since it was so stuffy & hot in there. I did get some pearl jewelry.

Walked in to do some last minute shopping before our flight. There was no AC, and only a handful of large fans blowing. The prices were extremely high and they had a very small selection, except for a million Hawaiian shirt styles. Go elsewhere.

We were looking for gifts to bring home, this was listed as a good shop. When we walked in we were greeted by a girl giving us a shell/stone lei and offered us a cup of water or juice, which was nice. As we started to walk into the store a clerk at the jewelry case kept telling us to... More
