This shop is fun if you are looking to browse souvenirs and Hawaiian wear. They are kind of pricey though. I don't know if they still do but the gave out shell lei's every time you walked in the door. Nice little free gift from the islands. Clean store fun to explore it.

Expensive and high pressure. We left the jewelry counter and went elsewhere to spend our $$$. A little disappointing when you tell them specifically what you are looking for and the price range and they start with the 14k gold.

Great Selection, the Kauai Store has the best selection of all the Hilo Hattie stores in our opinion. The selection runs the gamut from low price rayon to high dollar silk. Lot's of wonderful womens dresses too! WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Don't forget to get the coupons for free coffee mugs.

We visit Hilo Hattie mainly for Maui Divers pick a pearl. I had no idea they used to be free. Now they are $14.95. But they have a coupon gimmick of choosing your coupon. They have 30% 40% 50% off. At the stand alone Maui Divers if you don't pull 50% off you are out of luck. At Hilo Hattie... More

So, we get this "coupon book" from our concierge, and are told that this is a great place to shop for Maui gifts. The coupon book offers free towel, or sarong with minimum purchase, sounds good right? Well, we walk in, are directed toward the "Pick an oyster, pearl" spot, which is pretty reasonable $14.95 for a pearl, with a... More

I used to love a visit to Hilo Hattie every time I went to Hawaii. This time I was sadly disappointed. - The pearl is now $15.00 instead of a free try - the "local island" selection was poor - the overall selection was also poor Won't be visiting next trip... that's for sure

They have all your luau needs....if you want to dress the part. A little pricey, but very friendly. I was greeted with a shell lei and had enjoyed browsing the store. My clerk was friendly and very helpful.

We have gone to your store for many years, first visiting friends, and then becoming local. We have always spent hundreds of dollars per year purchasing dresses, shirts, hat/cap combinations plus many home and gift items. One visit per vacation usually results in a second because there was something we were contemplating and then just had to have. After the... More

the Hilo Hatties stores are prevalent in the islands - most are well stocked and a great place to get your souvenirs for the folks back home. Aloha wear is reasonably priced. My only critique is the hard sell at the jewelery counter; my guess is that the clerks get some type of commission.

High priced should be able to have something altered on sight for free for those prices!!! Fun to visit and open a Pearl, but lady was WAY to pushy to purchase a setting ( $500.00) to put the pearl in, then was almost mad when I said I just wanted the pearl...
