We found this Luau to be more intimate and actually better quality than others we have experienced on Maui!!! The singers had beautiful voices and the dancers were just what we expected...true local talent.

Awesome show! Great food! Loved the pork!!! My only complaint is the amount of people......probably around a 1000 heads. I felt like cows in a feeding line. Not too personal. Nonetheless, great time---free drinks!

A dynamic, talented and deeply spirited group of young and elder, for a sampler of awe, thrill, reverence and joy and amusement all in one... Sprinkled with very knowledgeable stories of history of Hawaii and its culture, people, meaning of various dances and tidbits of remarks to altogether help us have proper context for interpreting and appreciating what we were... We got to see all different kinds of hula and got to know some of the history of hawaii. We did not have the meal as it was at the hotel restaurant so not an authentic luau

We thought this show was culturally genuine and professionally done. They made it fun, encouraged photographs and outside food & drink. Literally, no restrictions. It was a tiny bit cheesy, but hey, we are tourists after all. The musicians were accomplished and the dancers were athletic, artistic, and had amazing stamina. It was all good, but the children dancers and... More

The Punua Family has done this show for close to 50 years! We had friends stay with us at the Marriott Lihue and this show is available just one night. We skipped the plated dinner and just bought a ticket to the entertainment which is presented in the incredibly beautiful inner courtyard gardens. This how includes traditional hula and modern... We enjoyed both the show and the food. The food is served 2 hours earlier than the show at Kukui's. Chairs and stage were set up in the courtyard area of the Marriott for the show. The price is moderate for a luau. The show included the expected hula and dancing with fire. The family in the show is definitely... More

This is not a traditional luau experience as advertised. Upon arrival we stood in line only to be seated in one of the hotel's restaurants and served a preset and average menu at our table beside the sidewalk and the pool. Once our family completed our dinner with no description of culinary or historical luau tradition we were directed to... More
