Absolutely gorgeous. The best way to see Kauai is to rent a car and drive around the entire island. Just follow the maps and/or guide books. These falls are definitely a must.

A short drive off the main highway these falls are a great site to visit. Parking is a bit tight but well worth a look for some great photo shots.

Worth the drive. If you are on Kauai, go there. We saw a rainbow on the falls. Felt like we were in real Hawaii.

Very pretty photo stop if you are headed in that direction. I bet it's even more amazing if you can get down there and view it, but it's still pretty from the side of the road. Parking isn't too bad. There aren't many spaces but people usually take their photos and leave so spots open up frequently.

Very beautiful, easy to view waterfall. Nice detour if you are in the area. Parking shouldn't be a problem. People usually snap a few photos and go, so spaces open up frequently.

Great and interesting waterfall on Kauai. A must see for someone visiting Kauai. Can be reached via a vehicle without using a tour company.

The view was fantastic. It would have been an easy hike if we had planned our day better. Be careful driving in as you get close to the viewpoint. Some cars stop in the middle of the road.

It was really neat to see if really interested in waterfalls. Parking was really difficult since you had to park on the side of the road. But being a first timer to Kauai it was fun to see once. Plus it's free! That's always a plus

We flew into Lihue and wanted to see something Hawaiian before we did anything else. We got the rental car and before the stop to Costco, we headed up to Wailua Falls. It is a quick drive, if you don't get stuck behind a super slow driver like I did - apparently the roads in Hawaii are difficult to navigate... More
