These twin water falls we're amazing. Parking might be limited during peak season, though. I many rate these falls as among the best on the island.

These falls are easy to get to and then to see. Parking can be a bit tight depending how many people are there. The falls itself are just gorgeous. There were people who had hiked to the falls we could see. Not sure if its a true trail. You can always catch a rainbow there if the sun is out!

Easily accessible because you can drive right up but it is kind of hard to see from the street. There is a hiking trail down, but it is blocked off (probably for safety reasons) and we were told it was very steep in the beginning. There is actually a rope on the ground. We did not go down, but some... More

The falls are neat to see without a long hike. The negative was all of the vendors parked under the "no vendors" sign.

I liked hiking in nature. It was dry when we hiked--no mud. I loved the falls and the pool of water. I didn't like that so many people were there. Go early. Many people arrive later. They limit the number of kayaks that can go, but I think they should further limit it to gain the full expanse of its... More

This is a very accessible waterfall of Fantasy Island fame. Although parking is limited, the falls could be seen from the road without a hike - and it is a very pretty waterfall.

It was a quick 10 minute hike down. Park and walk back on the road you drove in on until the chain linked fence ends on your left. Hike around the fence and follow a fairly obvious trail down. It was a bit tricky in my flip flops but doable.

These are some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Kauai you can access without hiking. If you want to see them from the bottom, though, you do need to scramble down a muddy trail for about 10-15 minutes. I was a bit wary to do so, but there were so many roots and branches to grab onto that it was... More

Hard to get an unobstructed view of the falls top-to-bottom. There is no official way to get to the bottom of the falls for a view looking up. Surprised that the access road starts in Lihue- I don't think it is more than 5 miles up the road, though. we found the falls sounds unique because the water drops from... More

While on a helicopter ride over the island, we flew over these falls. The pilot explained that they were the falls shown at the beginning of the TV show "Fantasy Island" and they were the only major falls on Kauai that you could drive to. They were beautiful from the air but I was unable to get a good picture... More
