Easy drive and easily accessible for photography. A very relaxing location to take in the beauty of the falls.

Excellent vantage point of the falls can be easily accessed by road with plenty of parking. I took several great shots of the falls.

Wonderful view. Just that the roads do not have many signs. You have to really pay attention to were you are going. Otherwise wonderful.

A short drive through sugar cane fields to a congested parking lot that is the perfect viewing vista to these falls. Great photos with rainbows.

Having seen them from the air drove up to the falls the next day. Parking is limited but people come and go often so no issue. Great view but I would have liked to get down to the pool. Others had but I could not find directions.

It is said that this is the same waterfall depicted in the opening of the Fantasy Island TV series. The view from up on top is spectacular. However, standing along the brick wall looking down at the grandeur of the waterfall, a couple of girls crawled up and over the short wall after having ventured down the right side to... More

Can't say we saved the best for last since there are SO MANY beautifully places to visit on the island but....our flight did not leave until one and we could not just sit around the morning of so we saved a few hours to visit the falls...Glad we did! Just 10 or so miles from the airport but a world... More

We happened to make an impulse turn off on our trip from Lihue to Kapaa and it was definitely a worthwhile diversion. The drive is pretty short, and quite scenic, winding through all sort of fields and plantations at the base of the mountains. It ends right at the waterfall (no hiking necessary) with a top notch view. If you... More

You have to kayak a decent distance and then hike to get to the falls but it was a lot of fun. For the hiking portion be prepared to get very muddy and there are several river crossing. So if you do not want to get muddy or wet it might not be for you. The falls at the end... More

Simply amazing! Beautiful and breath taking! There were a few locals there selling their wares...hand made palm baskets, fresh baked goods and jewelry.
