The drive to the falls in the evening sun is amazing. Great photo opportunities driving to the falls. One can hike down to the bottom of the falls as well. Ample spots for parking. Better than Opeka'aa falls in terms of flow.

These are good falls to drive to if you have a few minutes to kill. With the many other attractions around the rest of the island, Wailua was not the most exciting, although they are still beautiful. You drive straight to the falls, and there is a parking lot right behind them. You view the falls from a designated viewing... More

We decided to see what everyone was talking about, and the short drive was well worth it. Very, very pretty. Next time we will do the short hike to it.

Having seen great waterfalls around the world, this is just OK. Its easy to drive to if you are around Lihue or Kapaa. Dont miss if you are around ...dont make it a point to see it if you are on a tight schedule.

Must see when on Kauai, it is a short drive and short walk. You might think that your on an old sugar can plantation. Its on a short dirt road and feels like your in the middle of a farm.

While it's best to hike to the falls, we had to drive as we had a plane to catch. Amazing views and worth the trip, but if you drive be warned that parking is limited. A few venders sell their wares there as well.

We were staying at Wailua Beach just north of Lihue. It was an easy drive off the main highway and by cane fields. The falls are located beside the road with a cul-de-sac to park in. I took numerous photos of these beautiful falls. I understand from the locals that these falls were in the introduction to Fantasy Island. A... More

This was a great hike to do. It was about 2 miles up and 2 miles back, so bring plenty of water and wear sneakers! Going through the trail was interesting and there were many places to stop and take a break as well as see nature and the wildlife of Hawaii. Once we got to the falls, we went... More

Easy drive and easily accessible for photography. A very relaxing location to take in the beauty of the falls.
