Waterfall viewed from side unless you choose to get adventurous & walk down a path which is about a 45 degree incline. There is a rope to help you get back up. The path is muddy. The water is very cold but the pictures in front of & behind the falls is worth it.

Easy to get to just off Kuhio Hwy to Kuamoo Road and a short ride distance up from there. Falls on the Right Wailua River State Park on the left. Carefull crossing the street, road can get busy during peak work hours. AM for best Pictures.

Very beautiful and scenic.. you do need the proper shoe wear and be some what in good shape but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed it.. did buy a basket from... More

If you have 30 minutes to kill it is worth taking a look at these falls. Nothing much else around the falls. There are 10 parking spots. It's not a very place.

It's an impressive waterfall, but the roadside viewing area is not the best to see the entire waterfall. Consider taking one of the trails to the bottom to get a better view.

Google maps didi not do a good job here. Got lost a few times, pulled over for directions and all. It was breathtaking. And a must see, but try to ask the locals for help. Navigation was no help.

This is a must see falls. Signs warn you about hiking down but that is a must just go slow. View at bottom really lets you see the strength of this fall. This is the fall from the tv show Fantasy Island. If you do climb down don't forget the bug spray!

Beautiful, even in the rain! Untouched, natural beauty that seems a thousand miles from civilization but is actually only minutes from towns and the airport!

Yup, this is the waterfalls from the 70's tv show, Fantasy Island. It is a worth while easy drive, to the falls. You will pass a ranch, with some cows, and roosters nearby. The parking is a bit limited, so, I would recommend arriving early. There was an local islander making some crafts during our visit, he kept to himself,... More
