Its'' pricey, but the wow factor makes it worth the price. I cannot compare this operation to any of the others on the island, but my wife and I were very pleased with the staff, the helicopter and our experience. We had the option to go out of the Princeville heliport, but chose Lihue because it was $40 per person... More

Yikes! Did the pilot ever introduce me to iMax style flying in a rush immediately after leaving earth! Swooped and banked up against the mountains, through canyons and clefts narrow or wide we flew. The it was right up to the waterfall where Jurassic Park was filmed. Amazing afternoon went too quickly. All the beaches looked right out of a... More

This was my first visit to Kauai, and I was told that I absolutely should do the helicopter ride around the island. The concierge at my condo suggested Sunshine Helicopters, and I'm glad she did. This was the most spectacular ride one could imagine, and should not be missed. The staff was very, very helpful and it was very obvious... More

Okay, I don't really like to fly but wanted to see the whole island so signed up for this with mixed feelings, but am soooo glad I went! Smooth flight with spectacular scenery. An hour long flight that covered the whole island. Great value!

An amazing trip around the island. My husband and I neither one like heights very much, but this trip was incredible. I think it was my favorite thing we did on the island. It is definitely worth the price tag, because you get to see all places you can't otherwise. Friendly and competent staff. A must do!

Sometimes it's tough to make the decision as to whether the "high price tag" of an excursion is worth the $ or not, especially when you're bleeding $ for hotels, food etc. Let me make the decision easier for you...JUST DO IT. I was greeted at my hotel by a lovely, engaging shuttle driver who chatted with me both to... More

This was the highlight of our trip! Only great way to really see the island. If you get motion sickness take a pill before, but it is sooo worth it. Kord our pilot was awesome!! Definitely recommend this place.

Personnel was amazing and helpful. Picked up right from our hotel. The pilot was skilled and knowledgeable of the area. Showed us the most breath taking views of the area. No better way to see the waterfalls and clear blue waters. Was about an hour in the air and was able to purchase a DVD of the flight. Well worth... More

Pricey for sure but a wonderful way to see the island. In fact the only practical way to see some of the more off the beaten path locations. This is the only company that does a landing at the famous waterfall location from Jurassic Park but it is marginal whether this is worth the extra cost on what is already... More

Breathtaking! You can see 80% of the island and some places that you probably wouldn’t be able to access from the ground. I never knew that the Grand Canyon of the Pacific existed in Waimea Canyon, Kaua’i. Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! We drove out another day to admire it up close. It’s definitely a must see. We flew over Manawaiopuna – Jurassic... More
