Be sure to rent a cart for this course; it's, long, challenging and hilly at certain spots.
We like to play midafternoon for the discounted rates, mid-$60s, cart included. Bring some cold water, you'll need it by the end of your first nine holes, believe me.
Best money deal for a quality course on the island. Can get windy from...

Perhaps all GPSes are different because mine took me to the Puakea retirement home community. The golf course is actually located on the left of the end of Nuhou Road. Blake, the Starter, greeted me in the parking lot. I thought that was a nice touch in addition to the super friendly staff. Green fee is $80 (booked via Golfnow.com)...

Right behind Home Depot you will find a great golf course. The course is always been in good shape the 10+ times I have played the course. It’s a course that everyone should have a good time playing. It is challenging but doesn’t require a dozen golf balls to play like The Prince course.

This course was surprising scenic and more challenging than what one had imagined. There are a variety of holes offering changing views and some holes are very memorable, particularly the more difficult ones. Very accessible and fun to play.

My husband and I played late afternoon and received the twilight discounted rate, reasonable compared to other courses on Hawaii. We were able to play 9 holes in alittle less than 2 hours which was nice. The course seemed well maintained with some complexity. We stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort so we were very close to the course. Overall...

Good course. Not on ocean, but fun to play. Very friendly and laid back staff (unlike pushy and rude resort staffs). Excellent price. Had a blast.

After playing several courses in Oahu, (Overpriced, overrated Turtle Bay, Unsual, but $$ Ko'Olau , & Luana Hills,) Flew to Kaua, ,played an average Muni in Wailua, then struck gold with Puakea Golf Course.
A extremely well maintained course, friendly staff (Richard the starter, Ron, front desk), beverage cart, good snack bar & $59. with a cart (Turtle Bay- $50 just...

We stay next to poipu bay golf. If it cost $300 to get to puakea(20 minutes drive) we'd still come out ahead. The back nine at puakea is just as good. The front nine is absolutely fine but there are a few holes that aren't so pretty as they are near shopping area.
Great course, fantastic value. Very friendly. No...

I just played this great course and it's very nice and awesome ( $65.00 Cart incl ) value. I played from the blues, and they made it a little long for my game but none the less had a good time. The greens were kinda slow, it took me all day to figure the speed out ( never really did...
