It's a good track with great mountain views. The fairways, bunkers and greens were all in good shape. The rough was deceivingly tough because it appears the ball is sitting up nice but the rough grabs your club as soon as it makes contact. Their regular rate was $105 but teeoff.com had a $56 special rate.

Great affordable golf in Kauai! The course is designed well and beautifully maintained. There may not be a ocean view, but $65 vs $200+ for an ocean view is not worth It to me. Enjoy the ocean at the beach...

No service in terms of ice and water, etc but the course is quite good. Worth playing for the price with spectacular mountain scenery but no ocean views. Recommend while in Kauai.

Played here at seven am and was first one out, so pace of play was great. Layout was good, fairways in great shape and greens are consistent and smooth. 18 holes, cart and club rental and range balls for $100. Clubhouse lady was very helpful. Would love to play here again

We played Puakea three times during our eleven day stay and absolutely loved it. The course is challenging, yet from the forward tees is playable for everyone. The greens are very foo, fairways great and views stupendous. The views are not of the Ocean, but of the beautiful Kauai mountains and cliffs. Prices are very reasonable. You can play any... More

Puakea Golf Course is a well maintained par 72 course. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Richard, the Starter, made sure we ad a good time and knew where the bathrooms were on the course as well as other "local knowledge." He took good care of our clubs and golf shoes. There are 4 tees to choose from, all... More

Good course for the cost, a few holes on the later part of the front nine are near Costco (one year we parked the carts and ran to the opposite corner (a bit of a hike) to get Costco Smoothies. The back 9 has some very good holes, good shape, greens a little slow. I play a lot of A++... More

Puakea is a fun course to play. The fairways on some holes are narrow, some require you to shape the ball and some reward you if you can drive the ball over the hazards. It's not a course you can just go out and bomb drives. Playing it requires you to use some strategy to shoot a decent score. There... More

Best to go after 11am as price drops appreciably . New carts but no GPS, tees, or towels. Well laid out. Course was in good shape. The restaurant/ grill not all that great. No drink cart.
