Take in a fasinating train ride through the Koloa plantation, then taste the different kinds of Rum with rum cake. The gift shop has some fine trinkets and of course the rum. Coconut rum tastes great.

The dark rum is excellent, colored with carmelized cane sugar, not charred oak barrels. The spiced rum was a close second. The coconut rum was elegant. The light rum was perfect in the Mai Tai.

Great rum and a fun demo. Especially liked the teeny, tiny mai tai! Worth the time to stop and experience the rum tasting.

The rum tasting was outstanding. Gave a taste of several different rums and ended with a Mai-Tai in a shot glass. Very helpful if considering what kind of rum you like. If you never tasted rum, it offers a first time for you.

We came here on a rainy/foggy day on the island, and this was a highlight of our day! The staff were all very welcoming and eager to recommend how to use each of the rums in various drinks. The sugar cane adds a delicious flavor to the rum. The rum tasting is a fun experience, and complimentary! We left with... More

Visited and did both the train ride, then the rum tasting. We got to taste several rums made their in Hawaii. Our grandson enjoyed the train ride and feeding the pigs. Great half day adventure for the family.

Considering they are only 5 Years old and don't even have an "aged" rum yet they are still amazing . Local ingredients like sugar cane and coconuts made a world of difference in taste. Try spiced and coconut rums. The flavors are not to be forgotten. This should be your first stop when you get off the plane. Then you can... More

The cashier at the Harley store sent us here, what a treat!! They have rum sampling, rum for sale, and a gift shop. The cashier was one of the highlights of our trip.

The bartender was fun and seemed to enjoy his job. I purchased some spiced rum as a gift. I also bought the bubble wrap type protector. It was a worthy $2 investment to protect a $35 bottle of rum. Also, the Koloa rum company hat is great quality.
