We did spend a lot of time here since on this trip it rained pretty much every day. So we went to 3 movies the week we were there. It is a little theater kind of run down but they played the latest movies and the theaters themselves were pretty big.

We arrived a little early, and were treated quickly by multiple people behind the counter. very nice! They were all super friendly too. Food was adequate, better than the big theaters back home, Facilities were clean. It seated way more people than anticipated. Wish the seats had a higher back to them, but comfortable. Great place to go see a... More

Been watching the big screen releases here since I was in high school (that's a long time!) and I've seen improvements/upgrades a bit over the years, however, they pale in comparison to anything on the Mainland! Without any competition they, in my opinion, have not tried to do anything to be cutting edge. Can't really say anything good or bad... More

The only movie theater on the island. Took a night off to see "Gravity" in 3-D. Staff was friendly (as is the case with pretty much all the islanders). Odd that there was no center section so you sit on the right or left. No a big issue but odd.

If you can wait to see a movie then do it. They only accept cash. The lady that owns it runs the cash register and treats everyone like cattle. She has no personality and down right rude. Watch out for they're matinee times and prices that the show online. A lot of time you will get there to find out... More

although, the show they were playing prior to the main movie was way more entertaining than previews. Good spot to get away from heat.

this is an old theater with no sense of keeping a good movie for more than a week or even showing one except RARELY. forget anything educational or foreign, art house, not mainstream, or halfway intellectual. the owner is not very nice, very UNFRIENDLY, and grouchy. her staff are her lackeys that scour the theaters for people who bring in... As we prepared for this trip everyone told us that on your last day you need to probably see a movie to fill the time until your evening flight back. Wow! only one theater selection, think early 1970's structure and viewing. Food average, service acts like they are only game in town. If I had the time I would have... More

Not the top of the line cinema experience as it is the only movie theater in all of Kauai (since the movie theater in the Coconut Marketplace closed some years ago). Screens are small but they do offer first run movies (mostly). They definitely need some upgrades. Not at the quality you might be used to on the mainland or... More

Maybe because your on such a great Island the last thing you want to do is go to a movie but this place is in dire need of an upgrade! They don't take credit cards, no buying tickets ahead of time, and the movie screens are extremely small. On the plus side the seats do appear to have been upgraded... More
