We booked this event through some guide service. It wasn't at all what we were expecting. The food was good, but definitely not worth the price of admission. So if you're looking for authenticity, go somewhere else. The offerings were 'traditional', but Americanized. Try the papaya dressing they give you at the table, its amazing and better than the pork.... More

Food: There's a lot of it, and it's a buffet so you can eat as much as you want but I didn't love it. It reminded me of cruise food. There's tons of it and it's made in bulk so it's kind of bland and boring. Venue: It's in an event tent so it felt a bit manufactured. Obviously, when... More

This is probably the best luau in Kauai because of several reasons: it tells the story of the polynesians finding the Hawaiian Islands, the performance is very professionally done by local Hawaiians of Kauai, the costumes are beautiful, the music is excellent from the performers and the band that performed with the show and the luau was very tasty with... As a Luau, the performance was first rate, well acted with fine lighting and spectacular fire show. I should however make two points. 1. This is performed in a purpose built venue, rather than open to the elements. This may or may not be a concern, but it felt very "staged". 2. You do not get to eat the pig!... More

Our first Luau and we couldn't be more thrilled we chose this one in particular as all locals said this is the best! With the show- there is the Hawaiian culture amd how it started way back when. If your into story and culture this is a MUST Luau to attend. All the preforming cast is all local from Kauai.... More

We attended this Laua because it was an excursion offered by NCL Pride of America. The show was really good and portrayed a love story. The food was good for a buffet. They did a good job of serving 800 people. My only disappointment was that they had local vendors on the grounds trying to sell you their goods. I... More

This is the best place to go to a Luau on Kauai'i. .. but don't go for the owner's experience. They just give you some prissy food ... the "regular" people had better food, more choices ... the owner's experience just give you the best seats right next to the podium where the extraordinary show happens.

Good food, great entertainment, outstanding experience! A Must Do! Hubby and I attended the Luau as a shore excursion during our NCL cruise of the Hawaiian Islands. The night we attended there were 780 people from the ship. The food, entertainment, wait staff. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. The dancers (hula, fire, etc) were top-notch. I highly recommend mostly... More

This was not the luau we were looking for, it was more like a buffet with music and a show. You are inside with a stage and colored lights, there is no beach. The performers all seemed very professional and worked hard to make it enjoyable but the atmosphere just wasn't a Hawaiian luau to our family, we left early... More

We have attended several Luaus over the years on Kauai and this one has the best show of the bunch! There is a train ride through the grounds which our children love and the Koloa rum tasting is a bonus. Make sure to browse Kerry Oda's photos prior to the meal. wow!
