Great food and entertainment. Open bar, salad and all of the food was great. Wonderful setting. The performers were top notch. Recommend as a must if on the island.

The dinner and show was great. Was glad to see some gluten free options in the buffet. The fire spinners were awesome. Only thing I would say is to skip the train ride unless you have kids. The evening felt rushed and I would have liked more time to see the grounds.

The show was amazing - if you like Cirque De soleil, you will love this show! It's the only luau in the island that tells a story. Nothing to rave about the buffet, but the location is great..not to mention the rum company is right next door.

You will not be disappointed. You get a lovely setting on a plantation inside a huge stage/dining area. The stage is round, so there isn't a bad seat on the house. The evening started with cocktails(quite a nice selection, I thought.) and local merchant/crafts people who were friendly and not pushy as they demonstrated and sold their wares. Before the... More

The food was good, lots of choices for non meat eaters, great serving staff, and a wonderful show. While you are there make time for the plantation train tour.

The show was great, very entertaining. It seemed pretty organized when you went to the buffet. Food was OK, nothing to rave about but I went for the show.

My wife and I are visiting Kauai and we wanted to attend a luau; Luau Kalamaku had pretty high satisfaction ratings so we decided to go to this one. The luau is an entertaining, three-ring-circus of an event that happens to include some Hawaiian food. Attendees are invited to go to the luau a site an hour or so before... More

We attended this luau during a week-long visit for a wedding elsewhere on the island. We wanted to do a luau, and because of our schedule, this was one of the few that we were able to attend. And I'm glad it worked out that way! It turns out that Luau Kalamaku is regarded locally as one of the best... More

My sister and I attended this luau as part of our cruise excursion on Sept 18. The dinner was pretty good. We got seated in the back on the edge so we could not see the stage too well but since it was hot, there were like 400 people, luckily we could step out easily to get some air and... More
