On our first trip to Kauai and Hawaii we decided we needed to attend at least one a luau. We chose Luau Kalamaku over several others and were no disappointed. As I am told is the case with most other luaus, the facility hold hundreds of people but it seemed to be well organized. The selection of included drinks was... More

This venue is awesome! We only went to the show, so I can't rate the food. However, the show was wonderful and very entertaining!! The service is excellent as well. There was a minor hiccup with the booking and the person at the window noticed the error. She and her MGR really made up for the error and made us... More

Very good show. Fire dancers were entertaining. Food was so-so but staff very helpful and attentive.

My partner and I opted for the train ride and luau, and both are recommended. The train ride is probably even more fun with children, but we thoroughly enjoyed the views, history lessons, and the animals. The luau itself was a fun experience with a really wonderful theatrical show, but I'm no fan of buffets, and the food was just... More

Me and my wife are on our honeymoon! The resort suggested that we visit this Luau. We were reluctant at first because it's $100 a person, however it was worth every Penny! The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the show was exhilarating! The old plantation house is beautiful, filled with artwork and so much to look at!... More

I'll start off by saying that I did my research on Luaus because I'm a big stickler about great service. But the bottom line is, you can't please everyone, we will always find something to complain about! My wife and I decided to attend the Luau on 8/19/14 that was recommended by our resort and from our experience, Kalamaku was... More

The Plantation Owner's evening at Kilohana plantation was a very nice way to relax and enjoy dinner, shopping and cultural theatre in one activity. Well worth the $ :)

This was my second time at a luau and my expectations were low because of my previous experience (on the Big Island). Wow, was I impressed with this experience. We were able to book a shuttle from a nearby hotel to the luau which was convenient and informative. Fun too! Once we arrived at the luau, everyone receives a lei.... More

Luau Kalamaku was such a great experience. Never have been to Hawaii and going to a luau was on my list of things to do. This was not a letdown. Food was terrific...even the poi wasn't so bad. And the show was intense...must get the upgrade to the seats near the stage...got to feel the heat of the fire batons.... More

This was attended as a Pride of America excursion on a Thursday night. I think that is POA's night and the venue is reserved for POA passengers. We enjoyed the food and the show. Here are my thoughts: - Food was good...especially the roasted pig (you can watch them unearth the pig. It is then shredded and put on the... More
