We have seen alot of luaus, and this was the worst! Grounds were beautiful, food was so-so, but the show was AWFUL! I wanted to leave, but my husband made me stay. I felt like I was at at grade school talent show. It was painfully bad!

After arriving at the Smith Family facility, you are taken on a tram ride around beautiful scenery of trees, flowers and animals. You have some free time after the ride, which we used to re-walk the trail and take some great pictures. Then there is a short narration of how the pig is cooked in the ground as it is...

Unlike other luaus which just have Hawaiian dancing, this one has dancing from all the origins of Hawaii. Dinner was very good, very well organized and even the poi was tasty.

Great show and very good food. Very crowded, so get there early. Be sure to take the train tour (great for the kids) before the luau.

Luau is on a beautiful garden property, and the Smith family takes great pride in their luau, even after many years. The show is elaborate but good. The food is very good, especially considering they are serving hundreds of people. A must do on Kauai!

The food was okay at this venue, coming from Las Vegas area we were disappointed. The show seemed very "disney" like.
