We were a bit leery after reading some of the reviews but were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Starts off with a tour of the grounds in a tram. Fun to see peacocks! Then there is brief ceremony to unveil the pig. Then drinks..a wide variety of choices...followed by a leisurely buffet filled with a ton of... More

Was told by others that this was the best laua around so we went and had a good time. Nice gardens and the food was excellent considering they fed hundreds. Free Mai Tai's before the dinner. The show after dinner was very good.Don't know what more could be offered at a luau and the Smith family has been doing this... More

This place doesn’t disappoint, we enjoy it very much. The ground was so beautiful with flowers and various type of plants. The place is well maintain. Love the animals on the property, which include goat, peacock , and of course chicken as well. The owner was friendly and entertaining. The uncover of the pork was a site to see. My... More

Great family show, delicious meal before including adult drinks. Sure, maybe a little cheesy as another reviewer put it, but we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the whole evening. Well worth our trip, including the river trip we booked with them before the dinner & show.

This was our second trip to Hawaii in less than a year. Last year, we attended a wonderful luau on the big island, so we had high expectations for this one. It was OK. We were greeted gruffly, by a woman who abruptly demanded our "voucher." Not the greatest entrance. The tram tour was cheesy. I didn't really enjoy much... More

This is rated as the top Luau on Kauai. It includes a tour of the Smith Family garden area via tram followed by a view of the barbque pig being unearthed from the pit. After the crowd returns to the dining room there is a buffet dinner and then the dancing show. The dinner was good but nothing extraordinary --... More

I have been to several Luaus, and this one was very different. It starts with a tram ride through the facility. The grounds are beautiful and the peacocks are even more beautiful. Make sure to video tape the peacocks, who are very willing to put on a show by spreading their "tail feathers". It is awesome. Plan to view up... More

Delicious food, unlimited adult beverages, fantastic show which is a tour around the Pacific, beautiful property. The gardens and birds (many peacocks who are more than willing to show their beauty) as well as native structures on the property are amazing.. The Smith family are great hosts - a real bargain especially if you book on line at least 48... More

We were entertained from the moment we arrived, with pictures at the entrance with some of the dancers, boarded a trolley car for a tour of the facilities. Beautiful grounds, lovely trees and lots of birds (beautiful peacocks). On our return to the pavilion, the staff was helpful in getting you seated. There was entertainment for the dinner, which was... More
