The Smith Luau was fun! I have been to two other luaus situated on a scenic ocean backdrop and this one was a bit disappointing in comparison. My sister was visiting Hawaii and I wanted her to experience a luau. We both thought the gardens were beautiful as were the staff, but felt there were way too many people. It... More

We enjoyed the Smith tropical garden luau last week in Lihue. If you are looking for a "Classic" Luau combining the Aloha spirit with beautiful entertainment, this one is for you. The garden tram tour was lovely, although not much was in bloom. The tranquil setting with peacocks, a variety of birds (roosters and hens of course) endured among the... More

The Smith Family Garden is beautiful and would be worth visiting regardless of if you go to the luau. There are peacocks everywhere, along with exotic birds, geese, and chickens. The hand you a schedule and a map when you first walk in and it was a great guide. We opted to explore on foot. I can't say if we... More

Myself and three other tourists took in our first Luau show in Jan 2015. We were trying to decide between this one and another one. What made the choice was that Smith's had a vegetarian option at the Luau, and the price was more reasonable. The food was very good, and they were well organized. They made a sweet and... More

We traveled here for our second time with family, only because my husband and myself had gone to Kalamaku we opted for a different luau. A mistake, it was just o.k., was a history story line, only thru dance. (seemed monotonous) The very beginning of the sow I was amazed for 5 seconds, with the fire blasting from the volcano... More

We chose this attraction because we could just go to the show and not purchase a meal since we are vegetarian. We are glad we did. The price was actually lower that we expected to pay for a great show and it was easy to find.

We loved this Luau! From the train ride, to the pig ceremony, the train ride and chance to explore the beautiful garden, and the amazing food and fantastic show - we loved every thing about our experience. Would definitely go again, and recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic evening with a fantastic family run event. Nothing like it!
