I always buy luggage tags at this shop. The Hawaiian prints make it really easy to identify my luggage. I have been buying these for years, and they are only $5.00. If I am not visiting Kauai any time soon, I call them and they mail them to me. They also have beautiful quilts. These make wonderful gifts. I bought... More

This shop is well-stocked, well-lit, and has friendly and helpful staff. I love the selection of batik fabrics - especially the turtle motif.

Selection is phenomenal! Quality of fabric is superior. A quilter's dream! Hawaiian fabrics, patterns, and all types of quilting supplies. Staff is most helpful and knowledgeable! They want you to be happy with your purchase! Thanks so much Kapaia Stitchery for the wonderful assistance! FYI-Store will make custom Hawaiian shirts for customers.

I really wanted to go to a quilt shop while on vacation because I wanted some type of Hawaiian quilt kit as a souvenir. They had the perfect thing - a kit with a Hawaiian design already cut and basted ready for applique. It will make a 22" pillow and the kit includes matching thread and fabric for the pillow... More

Friendly helpful staff, patterns for the beginners, experienced and everyone in between. Nice variety of bolted fabric and fat quarters. Floral prints unique to this store. Large well appointed facility.

A MUST STOP for all, not just quilters! They offer in-house tailored Hawaiian shirts and you choose the pattern. These Tutus, Aunties and Ladies LOVE their work and are always generous with their time and knowledge of the Kauai paradise. I purchased three awesome-local-handmade quilts. Additionally, I was given advice on where to get the freshest flowers, a delicious birthday... More

We followed Trip Advisor Advice to Kapaia Stitchery. They mostly sell fabric. You could go into JoAnne Fabrics and see the same stuff. Spend your time looking at the unique Kauai made stuff unless you really love fabric. My wife bought some stuff to make a couple of dresses for our little girls.

It's another incredible quilt shop. Tons and tons of fabric. They also have tropical themed needlework supplies. I saw things at this store that I did not see at any of the other quilt shops in the islands. A special bonus is that yellow bali's are always hard to find, but not here. Also, hats off to the person who... More

This is not a big store and that's just one bit of its appeal. What it is large in is selection, they seem to have a bit of everything including unique gifts. I stop here several times with every trip to the island.

We always stop by Kapaia Stitchery when we are on Kauai. So many beautiful fabrics, Hawaiian quilts and stitchery projects to look at. My husband occasionally decides he would like a custom aloha shirt - so this time he picked out some beautiful fabric with waterfalls and koi. When he ordered the shirt, they told him it would probably take... More
