Hadn't been on a horse in over 20 years but booked through NCL and went with one of my sisters. I was pretty nervous but they paired me with Quick and Easy. She was sweet and calm, a great little horse. I was able to settle back and enjoy the view. Beautiful, beautiful scenery. The guide kept track of us.... More

I bristled a little bit at the thought of this at first. The only other horseback riding I had done was in Ireland, which also went down past a beach, and I believe it cost $40 per person or so. CJM, however.... is not so inexpensive. Never fear though, I would absolutely take this over my Ireland experience any day.... More

WOW! If you are considering taking a break from the beaches, this adventure is a MUST! My husband and I have taken a horseback riding adventure on each of the Hawaiian islands; and CJM Stables was BY FAR the best riding horses, the best scenic views, (riding on secret beaches and through the mountains), and had the best guide; Pete!... Our party of 6 (3 adults, 3 young teens) really enjoyed this pleasant 2 hour ride through gorgeous vistas and down to the beach. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped select appropriate horses for each of us. There were about 30 people total during our morning ride, however, they split us all into smaller groups- ours was... More

Family went on the morning trail ride at 9:30 AM. Check in was at 9 AM. Upon arrival, our oldest daughter decided she would ride also. Long pants are recommended and close-toed shoes are required. The stables provided her with socks and boots so she could ride along. They also provide saddle-horn bags to keep small cameras and other items.... More

We booked this excursion through NCL. We were picked up at the port and driven to the stables. What an amazing view!! There, we mounted our beautiful and very well trained horses. Our guide took us on the trail on Kauai's magnificent coast and through the wilderness. After a week of hiking, biking and snorkeling, we decided to let the... More

This was a WESCO Incentive Trip to Kauai and the horseback riding was one of the many optional activities scheduled. Because I had never been on a horse before, what better place than Hawaii! I though I would be the only one in our group who had never ridden before, but luckily half the group had never ridden and they... More
