Poipu Bay is an excellent golf course. Course was in decent shape and greens were good although clearly wind blown. Very fair course. This 8 shot a 72 on it from blue tees, so there is clearly many oppurtunties for golfers of all skill levels. I paid 100 to play, the service was excellent from the bag dropoff to the... more

Had a tee time yesterday at 2:00 PM, with my wife as just a ride along. When we arrived they proceeded to tell me that there are "attire" restrictions, and that my wife needed to where a womans shirt with a collar as a ride along??? Now trust me, I am well aware of golf attire restrictions as I've played... more

My wife and I were staying at the North Shore and we're going to play the Prince Course at Princeville. However, it kept raining every afternoon. We decided to try the Poipu Bay and found it to be one of the top places we have every played (certainly liked the course better than Pebble Beach). The staff were friendly, the... more

The Poipu Bay Golf Course has been host to the PGA golf tournaments for many years. While that no longer takes place on Kauai, it's still has the best eats at the clubhouse. The dining room is beautiful and spacious, the tables are spaced far apart and you overlook the beautiful greens and mountains in the distance. The breakfast is... more

Dont listen to magazine hype this is the number one course on the island. Condition is fantastic. Drainage is good if it rains and if the wind blows your gonna score high but the course is more than fair. The last three holes will blow your mind...the "pebble beach" of Kauai. Its pricey like the other major courses on the... more

Went for the $125 afternoon rate as I wanted to make sure to get in the last few holes, which are by far the prettiest. Wind played havoc with balls. Drives that would normally go 250-275 were going 175. This added a nice challenge to the course. I found the first 14 holes to be pretty average for a nice... more

I am not generally one to hammer out user reviews on, well, anything... Every so often, however, an experience moves me towards an exception... Poipu Bay Golf Course more than qualifies as "exceptional". Let me start off by stating boldly that the $75 twilight greens fee (2:30pm), including GPS cart, two iced water bottles, complimentary towels and tees, and a... more

We played the Poipu Bay Golf Course while staying at the Hyatt for two nights on our honeymoon. The course was amazing just from the views around it. It was well worth the $125. The course itself was in great shape and a lot of fun to play. They treat you with a free bottle of water and ice cooler... more

This course is nothing short of amazing. It was far the best course I have ever played. The last 5-6 holes are played along the ocean and the views are just breath taking!! The GPS in the carts was VERY advanced. The Carts were very nice and clean with an ice chest filled with water (yes it gets hot/humid and... more
