The “ALOHA SPIRIT” is what the staff at Kauai Down Under is all about! In the Hawaiian language, Aloha means affection, love, peace and compassion. Aloha has also come to be used as an English greeting to say hello, goodbye, and “I LOVE TO DIVE”. Ok, maybe we added the last part! We are pretty sure, however, that the state of Hawaii was nicknamed the “Aloha State”, due to our staffs’ spirit! From first time to advanced divers, the Kauai Down Under Dive Team is all about making your diving experience truly memorable! We are passionate about what we do, the extraordinary island that we live on, and the abundant waters that surround it. From the endemic species living in our reefs, to unique lava tubes and reef formations, Kauai Down Under can help you experience all that Kauai Scuba Diving has to offer. Our PADI-trained professional scuba instructors have been hand-picked from the best of the best. They lead quality tours and offer fascinating briefings which include Hawaiian history and lore. Your surface intervals will be filled with chatter about the critters that you encountered and how amazing the reef structures are. You will be amazed by how well our instructors know these reefs. Their experience means unsurpassed wildlife encounters and dive memories that will never leave you.Kauai Down Under is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. Received our advanced open water certification through Kauai Down Under with dive instructor, Christina. She was attentive, informative and very friendly. My husband and I had a great time on all five dives and feel lucky to have had Christina as our guide.

My wife and I were fortunate to have an intro dive on Wednesday, Nov. 11 with Christina and Mercedes. When we had the welcome to the island orientation on Sunday, Nov, 8, the idea of being able to scuba dive while on Kauai was very exciting. We did our pool test drive and were hooked, we had to scuba. When... More

Cristina was fantastic as it was my first dive and she was super patient with my initial freak out. Koloa landing was a wonderful spot to see fish, turtles, eels, and more. We had so much fun! Thanks Cristina!

I was slightly apprehensive at first as sometimes I feel uneasy in the ocean but Christina immediately calmed those fears. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! As soon as we submerged she made me feel completely comfortable and guided me step by step through the entire process. After a few skill checks she took me... More

My 14 year old and I had done an "intro" dive in St Thomas last year, but never completed our Open Water Certs. This year, my wife and now 10 year old son joined us (since you have to be 10 to try it). Our leader, Brandon, was great. He patiently explained things, and worked very closely and patiently with... What a fun trip out with Sean, Christine and Shawntell. Lots of turtles at first snorkel site. Zodiac boat is a fun experience, small boat, so not a ton of people.

We had so much fun with Kauai Down Under! I am a certified diver but my husband had never been so we booked the introductory 2-tank dive and had a total blast! Our instructor - whose name can't remember (SORRY!!!) - was awesome really made my husband feel comfortable and also let me do my own thing. It was a... More

We were a bit confused as we thought the dive was a boat dive. It was not, but that is not the fault of the company. We did the certified Tunnels dive. visibility was ok, again not the fault of the company. We arrived early and parked in the alley. NOTE: You are to park your car in tunnels beach... More
