This place is right next door to the mini-golf. They have a good assortment of fresh fruit some of which is pre-cut and chilled. The mango was amazing! We all got the banana-pineapple frostie which is basically frozen banana and pineapple put through a grinder. To me the two flavors pretty much cancelled each other out making it not as... More

This was one of the "had to go" places we heard of and we weren't dissapointed. It's a cute little fruit stand right off the side of the road off the main highway just before the turn to Kilauea if heading south from Princeville. They have really good smoothies and frosties in pineapple, banana and mixed flavors (the frosties are... More

This is a funky little place right on the highway. We got the Frosty-- frozen, mashed fruit which makes a dairy free "ice cream." So good! We also picked up a gigantic, perfectly ripe avocado for guacamole. I regret not picking up any of the baked goods.

Small fruit stand near Princeville. They make smoothies and frostys with all fresh fruit. We had pineapple frostys, so smooth and creamy it tasted like ice cream. Wanted to go back for a banana one and didn't get a chance. Will definitely return if we get to visit Kauai again!

Banana Joe's fruit stand is located about 200 yards north of the Kilaea Lighthouse turn off. It is a little place with a variety fresh fruits and other local goodies. The claim to fame is the fresh fruit smoothies and frosty. They also use fresh fruit, bananas or pineapple or both together. We have always had the frosty. I don't... More

You cannot leave Kauai without stopping at Banana Joe's for the best frozen treat ever! It is a frosty, all natural using only fresh fruit and no added sugar. We often take visitors there and everyone is always amazed at how delicious these fruit frosties are. The owners, Joe and Cindy are the nicest people you can meet and love... More

You got to try the fruit frosty. All natural, frozen fruit – we had the mango-banana – which tastes like a rich ice-cream but has no added products. The stand has some very good natural food and it is a must stop for vegans. Stop and talk to Joe, he is the nicest guy and will explain how he makes... More

The smoothies were tasty & filled with fresh fruit. It was refreshing. Price a little high for their items. The gal that rang up at the register was ditzy, which ruined the ambience. Oh well, the items purchased were delicious

On our way back from exploring the north shore of Kauai we stopped at Banana Joe's, an unassuming fruit stand/shop we'd heard great things about. They were out of a few things, but did have pineapple frosties available. Mmmm! Made my squeezing pineapple through a special juicer/blender, it has the consistency of ice cream. Very good! Although the person there... More
