We absolutely loved Na Aina Kai and our warm, friendly tour guides. My recommendation is that you call and reserve your tickets well in advance to make sure you can visit this beautiful place. We were in Kauai for 10 days and almost weren't able to get tickets. They must limit the number of visitors because my family didn't see... More

This beautiful garden, near Kilauea, is a hidden treasure. It is a very worthwhile 3 hours to spend in lovely, lush, tropical paradise. We had the pleasure and privilege of having the owner and founder of the garden as our guide. She only does tours a couple times per month so we feel very fortunate. These gardens are heavily weighted... More

My husband and I just took the 5 hour trek tour (which turned into a 6 1/2 hour tour) and loved it! Lisa, the tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and considerate. The logistics were perfect...lunch waiting for us when we arrived at the beautiful lunch stop, and water and rest rooms conveniently available. Thank you for the best day... More

Christena, our tour guide lead us around the beautiful Na Aina Botanical Gardens on a family tour. We spent 1 hr listening to her stories about the property and the magnificent sculptures and plants/trees. Typically, they have 1 hr in the children's garden area but the tour had kids ages 9-14 so she modified to our delight. With only 2... More

Basically a BIG private collection of a wide range of trees, plants and bronze sculptures. The place is pretty much a flat dusty plain purchased in 1982 and turned into a Jurassic feeling park by some creative and probably pleasant rich folks. We we're staying at an all inclusive resort on a family thing so I think it was nice... More

These gardens, which are available by tour only, are beautiful but just as great as the garden was our docent George! He knew the history of the gardens and each area of the gardens, and was super nice in answering all questions. This is worth the cost (and they were reciprocal members with our local botanical gardens so we used... More

We took the 3.5 hour guided tour which covers the primary garden, a drive down the bluff toward the sea and the hardwood trees, also the food garden. Both the amount of money that has been spent on the garden and the vision and love that are reflected in it are like nothing we had ever seen before. A huge... More

This is a beautiful garden that you must see on a guided tour. We took the Trek tour which is a 5 hour walk (with a bit of riding) thru the garden. A great lunch was provided. All the tours have a limit of 9 people, but it turned out that we only had 4 on our tour since the... More

Unfortunately, these gardens require that you take a tour. So we did the main tour, I think it's called the formal sculpture garden tour. Our tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. However, I went into the tour with the assumption that sculptures at a botanical garden would be some sort of botanical sculptures, but they were not. They were all... More

This place is really over-rated unless you want to study exotic trees. The teak trees took up a great deal of space and I got tired of looking at tree trunks. They are doing interesting experiments with introduced species. We took the 3 hour guided golf cart ride which was at least an hour too long. We were expecting beautiful... More
