We took the tour that included riding in a small tram. Glad we did, it was a hot humid day. This was our 3d time here. Others on the tour had been here before too. Didn't matter, there were many new items. Ann, our Volunteer guide, was great. We saw so much. Learned a lot too. Beautiful trees and flowers.... More

According to friends that have toured all of the gardens on Kauai, these are the best. I took the tram and walk tour that lasted about 3 hours and it was wonderful. Our tour guides, Barbara and Rick, were fun and informative. We saw so many varied gardens, but evidently only touched the surface of all there is to see... More

Went on the Stroll and Walk tour. Cost was $50 each. The majority of the tour was on the expanded golf cart. I really would have liked to walk more. We seemed to be getting on and off the cart, drive 20 feet get on and off again.. wanted to just walk and enjoy the fresh air instead of smelling... More

We toured these gardens recently with a very knowledgeable guide. The area is quite expansive with sea views, baby albatross, childrens garden, and whimsical bronze figures. It is not so much gardens, but experiences. There are large stands of trees and plantings of native trees and plants. It is amazing what these private owners have accomplished over a lifetime! Quite... More

This is a great tour to take for a look at Hawaiian plant and animal life. We took the Stroll and Ride Tour for 3 hours -- and the time flew by. The garden is lovely; the guide showed us some baby albatross in their nests; and we saw many bronze statues of whimsical children and animals. It was well... More

The property is very large and varied although quite a bit is a tree plantation. You are driving around in small groups. The tour guide we had was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the tour but our preference would be for the National Botanical Gardens - on this trip we visited the nearby Limahuli Garden.

There are different gardens with themes and a formal garden as well as a ocean viewing area where in the winter Albatross visit. It is well worth the $ for a ride or stroll, always with knowledgable docents. I highly recommend!

Great introduction to the flora of the Hawaiian Islands as well as its history with knowledgeable guides . An extensive tour of a unique garden with over 100 exquisite bronze sculptures placed throughout the 200 acres amidst flowers and forests, . An opportunity to observe the laysan albatross up close.

We did the 3 hour Stroll and Ride Tour led by a docent couple. This botanical garden is a wonder and showcase of a couples passion and dream. So many flowering plants and trees to view, the sculptures are delightful and whimsical, well placed in the gardens. In addition, we saw many albatross and even a baby albatross from just... More

This is a huge garden with forests, water, sculpture, unusual trees, nesting albatross, ocean views, and more! We took the 3 hour ride and stroll tour. I can't comment on the shorter tours, but you could not begin to see much of it on foot. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw trees that I had never heard of or... More
