We did the 90 minute stroll tour ($35 each) with Sherri as our knowledgeable and funny guide. It was a hot day and she made sure to offer sunscreen and a parasol if we needed them. Her observations were interesting and she has a great sense of humor. The gardens are immaculate, if kind of a weird hodgepodge of different... More

This is a magnificent piece of property. Beautifully thought out wonderful flow and amazing plants. The guide we had explained about how she had found her energy in Kauai many decades before. However, she did not seem to share this wonderful energy as she lead the group a bit to fast often talking away from group and acting impatient if... More

We (four adults and one 3 year old) recently took the two-hour children's tour and had an absolutely marvelous experience--would highly recommend it for families The guides cleverly gave each child a small sack with his/her name on it to gather "treasures" on the first half of the tour. The gardens are huge and spectacularly beautiful--my husband and I both... More

Beyond Beautiful!!! More important is the vision and commitment this couple has to the stewardship/preservation/revitalization of Kauai's natural flora, BRAVO ... A must see! This was my second visit, the first was July 2009 and I will visit again & again!! We took the 2 1/2 hour beach walk, perfect! My partner and I really enjoy all the bronze sculptures... More

I wanted to do a Botanical Garden tour while on Kauai and this one fit my needs at the time. The rest of my family was on a boat tour of the NaPali Coast and I could not go because of a recent back injury. This tour was a possibility and when I found that I could ride on not... More

We took the three-hour riding tour today because my elderly mom is recovering from a fractured hip. The staff was amazingly helpful with everything and getting her situated was a piece of cake. Our tour guid, Norm, was funny and full of fascinating facts about the extraordinary trees and plants on this gorgeous estate. I am all energized by the... More

We have done the children's tour on four occasions over the years. Here are the pros and cons from my point of view: PROS: -The children's tour is a "must" for the playground time at the end. For this alone, the tour is worth the $$. My kids still talk about it! -The guides are knowledgeable about the native vs.... More

This privately owned, non-profit garden was pure paradise. Our guide was very informative and paid special attention to everyone in her care (we had 4 in our group) 8 in all. The sculptures rivaled the gardens and everyone was pleasant. The views from the various locations she took us were breath taking!

This garden was really an educational eye-opener. I didn't know that 70% of Kauai's foliage was introduced after the 1880's. It has so invaded the native growth, that many plants are extinct or very close to it. Treat yourself to a "real Kauai garden" self tour.
