This is a huge garden with forests, water, sculpture, unusual trees, nesting albatross, ocean views, and more! We took the 3 hour ride and stroll tour. I can't comment on the shorter tours, but you could not begin to see much of it on foot. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw trees that I had never heard of or... More

I wasn't excited about going but my friend likes structured activities so we went. I am retired military so it was $40 for me and my guest. Betty was the volunteer guide and what a dynamo! The history of how the property came to be is fascinating and we zipped around many of the 200+ acres. The various forests and... More

We took the 2.5 hour tour cart. The price was $50.00/person. Out tour lasted almost 4 hours and we saw more trees and plants than I ever suspected. Oh the are a large number of bronze statues by many well known artists. They sculptures were beautiful but I came for the trees and other plants. Our guide was very knowledgeable.... More

our first trip to this beautiful garden. It is a paradise on the north side of Kauai in Kilauea . We saw nesting albatross and beautiful gardens. Best of all were the amazing whimsical sculptures throughout the gardens. We took the stroll and ride tour led by Betty. She was personable as well as very knowledgeable. We rode, stopping to... We did the walk n ride beach tour. Julie was fun and lively - very knowledgable and kind! The grounds were lovely ( they never claimed to use native only ) and provided for our comfort at all times. The pace was good / the gardens were wonderous and made quite an impression !!! this was a great way to... More

We went on the 3 hour walk/ride tour. It turned out to be 4.5 hours of above and beyond information. So be prepared to spend some extra time. The grounds are the same: above and Beyond. The owners acquired the property in the 70's and added a second parcel in the 90's which totals 240 acres. Our guide was a... More

We took the stroll & ride tour which was supposed to be a 3 hour tour: 1pm to 4pm. We started at 1 and got done at 5:20. While the place is amazing and absolutely breathtaking-- the tour was waaay too long! The tour guide was informative & really knew her stuff, but she was like a wind-up toy and... More

We brought our 4 & 6 year olds for the "Family Tour" and this was a highlight of our trip! Our boys loved collecting nature on the tour, seeing new & interesting plants, and feeding the fish! The Children's Garden is amazing and our boys had a blast. We stayed for 3 hours and probably could have stayed for more.... More

We took the 1-1/2 hour garden tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the plants and statues. The garden is lovely cared for, the guides and staff are very proud of it. The walk is easy and slow paced. Lots of time to take photos and ask questions. Good gift shop, free coffee, clean bathrooms.

The grounds were huge, and beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and so much to see. Bring cameras.
