Have to agree with previous reviewers that it was overall a fantastic experience. My 2 daughters (ages 14 & 11) and I had a morning lesson with Cliff and he was great. As a mom in her 40's who is not in the best shape I was definitely nervous going into it but Cliff made us all feel very comfortable.... More

My family and I had a great time learning to surf with Cliff. He was incredibly patient and knowledgable. Our family of three had a blast. Of course, our 8 year-old picked it up quickly and was riding waves on his second try. My wife and I struggled a bit but were riding waves about mid-way through the lesson. Cliff... More

Booked a spontaneous day-of surfing lesson with Cliff and had an amazing time! Small group (4 people), all at different levels -- my boyfriend got the hang of it right away, but I was much slower at it. Cliff is an amazing teacher and with such a small class you really get a lot of instruction, but there is also... More

Me and my brother took surf lessons here and Cliff was amazing! He was a great and patient instructor, and we learned a lot from him. I would for sure come back for lessons again. Great value and quality, and it couldn't have been better, I loved surfing with them. They are super laidback and by the end of the... More

We had our surflesson in October and it was great. Small group, low price, great attention for everyone and lots of fun. We really got to surf in only 90 minutes! Definitely recommend this! Thank you Cliff!

Cliff was absolutely amazing. My husband and I scheduled to surf with Cliff on Monday in Wailua Bay. The waves were just so "mean" there that we ended up having to wait until the next day at Hanamaulu. Cliff offered to teach us for free due to us having to wait another day. Which, of course, I couldn't let happen... More

We took a surf lesson with 'Learn to Surf' on Kauai (Wailua Beach Park). So glad we did! It's not easy, but we had alot of fun. They are 'group' lessons, but the guys only take a handful of people so the lesson feels like it's private. Our instructor, Cliff, was very good, patient and helpful. It's a 90 minute... More

Of all the surfing lessons we took in Hawaii (Maui, Big Island, Kauai, ...) this was by far the best one. They give lessons wherever the waves are good on the island. Just call & they give you directions where to meet them. Groups are small and prices much cheaper than for any other lesson, yet they are so much... More

My father in law and I saw all the great reviews on here and a guide book told us this outfit was good. We booked a lesson for the next day and it was awesome. It was a small group class. The instructor Cliff, was very good and worked closely with all of us to make sure we had success... More

Our teenage son wanted to learn how to surf on a recent trip to Kauai. We called late in the morning hoping but truly not expecting to get a lesson that day. Thirty minutes later, we got a call saying they could fit our son in at 1:30 that day. We were told to meet Cliff at Wailua Beach. (You're... More
