My husband took a surf lesson as part of our recent trip to Kauai. Cliff was a great teacher and my husband had a great time. We called the day of and got directions to a perfect surfing beach. He was surfing the waves within 10 minutes of arriving. So worth it and don't forget to bring a little extra... More

Dont go anywhere else. Wesley and Cliff are excellent. They are very encouraging. We originally went to a beach with high surf. They went above and beyond by going to another beach. We all were able to get up.

These guys are great. It's a small group, but feels like a private lesson. I didn't think I'd be able to get up, but these guys had me up riding waves in no time. I'm a beginner, but the more experienced surfers seemed to get something from it as well. If you're in Kauai, this is the best $45 ($65... More

Awesome place! Both Cliff and Wesley are great instructors. They provide you with everything you need rash guard, surf board and leash. Small class sizes and everyone gets up on the board

My 12 y.o son surfed a few years back with Surfer Rick at Kayak Kauai in Hanalei, sadly their location move 20mins south in Kapaa. Saw the reviews on line and called up to make a reservation. Very good directions to the beach, Cliff is the bomb and a great instructor. Very happy with the lesson and great attitude too.... More

Had read great reviews about this group and now understand why they are all 5 star. We met Cliff at a beach they had been surfing that week (location changes according to conditions) and he got the 4 of us (including 2 kids, ages 9 and 12) started quickly and surfing within 30 minutes. He even let the kids surf... More

My husband and I had the time of our lives. Cliff made surfing fun and easy for the both of us. Plan to bring extra cash, you will want to tip him more for such an amazing experience.

While staying on Kauai I wanted to take surf lessons. I picked Learn to Surf because of the excellent reviews and I can just add another one. It was an excellent experience. I was lucky to come back for 3 more times. We always had small groups, the guys always picked great spots, nice sandy beaches, very comfortable for beginners.... More
