This was one of the best things we did during our visit to Kauai. The river is calm, so the kayak part was fine as long as you and your kayak partner are on the same page! It is hard to describe the mud that you will encounter on the hike. I had Tevas but ended up using my Merrills... More

Our guide, Matt, was excellent, very knowledgeable about local flora, fauna and lore, kept a close eye on our group of 8 and pulled no punches about the challenge level of the hiking portion. Totally worth the fact no sock worn that day will ever see the color white again!! WEAR SNEAKERS YOU CAN ABUSE. When the guides say no... More

Hello went on the afternoon tour for Kayaking with Rainbow Kayak. Christian was our guide he was awesome! We felt at ease and we had a great time! I felt like I was in an Indiana Jones Adventure. If you do not take the kayaking tour to the Secret Falls you are totally missing out. The tour started on time... More

Spent a week in Kauai with 2 girlfriends who are not quite adventurous, so I decided to do this trip on my own. Signed up for the kayak tour on Wiluia river with the hike to Secret Falls. Fantastic trip! It is about 2.5 miles of a very easy kayak, either in a double kayak or a single (I was... More

The kayak tour was hands down, the BEST activity I attended while in Kauai! Our guide, Christian, was awesome - being a local, he added a sense of authenticity to the tour, especially during the hike, as he stopped periodically to point out fun facts or educate us about Kauai's history. Fortunately for our group, the trail was not as... More

All in all, a very enjoyable, positive experience. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made the entire trip very enlightening. The kayaking is hardly all that difficult and the views are lovely as you make your way up what seems to be an enchanted river. The hike on the other hand, is somewhat understated in the ads. It's rather over... More

The tour guide Christian really made the trip! A local Hawaiian he really brought real world flavor to the trip. (Provided me with a few new jokes as well!) This trip was a really good mix of kayaking up the river and a great hike to the waterfall. Swimming under the waterfall was a good treat to wash away the... More

We got good instructions and service when booking the trip was friendly :) Daniel made sure that everybody kept up with the pace and that everyone were enjoying the trip and feeling comfortable. He probably tells the same jokes every day but... More

Rainbow KayakTours was great! The price was right. They were well organized and kept to a planned "adventure". Oh, and food they served was delicious, not fancy, but perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable about all things Kauai, and Hawaii,; flora, lore, and more. We kayaked up the Wailua River and then hiked (easy, wear shoes) to a beautiful waterfall where... More
