Looks like a kids wading pool, but even my snorkel experienced husband said the fish were amazing. And for myself, I don't snorkel, but the water is not even waist deep, so walk out on the right hand side (no rocks) over by the break water and you can look down at the fish all around your feet. We visited on a very windy day when the ocean was too rough for swimming or snorkeling. Yet this beach is protected and was find for swimming and snorkeling.

Enclosed area for snorkeling - felt safe there. Great beach for families with children. Lifeguards there, sandy beaches - no rocks to walk over at the shoreline.

Easy access to this beach. Sometimes the waves were a little rough. Great place to sit and watch the water.

Parking is not a problem at this beach. There are lifeguards and plenty of grass and beach area. If you don't want to be around the kiddos- just move down the beach.

Like many have said, there is a nice Lagoon created with rock jetties. This creates a clear and calm area where kids can swim. There are some fish in the lagoon, so it is a good place for someone to learn to snorkel. There are park grounds around the beach, with picnic tables, playground, bathrooms and open fields. The east... More
