Five of us did the Secret Falls tour. None of us knew what we were getting into when we signed up. When we arrived the wonderful, warm owners quickly told us we would be hiking through mud up to our knees, showed us pictures, and offered used tennis shoes to anyone who didn't want to sacrifice their shoes or had... We wanted to go at our own pace because we had small kids, so we just rented two kyaks at 10AM and had them until 5PM. It was the most fun adventure we had while we were in Kauai. We found the secret falls, fern grotto, and cliff jumping spots no problem with the map the owners provided. They also... More

When my girlfriend and I were planning our trip two week trip to Hawaii she had the great idea to spend a few days in Kauai. She was born and raised in Honolulu Oahu, Hawaii . I am from Northern California. Said she hadn't been in a while and that it was beyond beautiful. So I said, "sure lets go."... More

This is the best tour company on the river. The owners were very attentive and offered us suggestions on footwear etc. They also offered river sneakers that were already ruined by the red dirt as an alternative. I must say, I opted for my running sneakers and am pleased to say they washed clean. We so so many other tours... More

Great owners.. Very resonably priced. They loaned us some sneakers, They gave us a wet bag to keep all our stuff dry. Glad we brought a waterproof Camera. Kathleen was our guide. What a great person she is. She is truly into the envoroment and the native ways and was very informative.... She did a great job for us. We... More

We took this trip an loved it. Cole was our guide and it a great job. Very informative of the area, including rock ruins of former inhabitants, and very entertaining. It is not motorized and does require work but is a great workout in the kayak. The snacks are just snacks and not lunch. But we didn't do this trip... More

We rented a kayak from these folk. Super friendly couple running the place when we were there. A must do! They made it fun and easy.

At $40pp this is one of the best values on the island (compared to $100-200 for ziplining, ATV, tubing, etc.). A 2 mile kayak, followed by 1.5 mile hike. We used Ali'i Kayaks. The guide (Justin) was great and hillarious. The ukalalie playing while walking through knee-deep mud is something we will never forget. Watch out for his stealth wild-boar... More

Kawika was a joy to have lead us on our muddy expedition to the falls. He was great with our teenage boys and patient with us as we slipped around the muddy hike. The kayak up the river was excellent. Kawika gave us great insight to the history of the island sites as well as plants/trees. We highly rate this... More

We had a fun time adventuring to the falls with Judah. The kayaking was easy enough that most people should be able to do it, but the hike was a different story. Only fit people should do this if it's muddy. We walked through cake batter consistency mud almost up to our knees. The trail was very slippery, and all... More
