The shop is a few blocks from the river so you have to load the kayak on top of your car. Probably why they have the lowest prices. Foam pads are provided & the kayaks are light so it's an easy load on & off. The people at the shop provide water proof packs for cameras & food so bring... More

After talking to someone who was very unaccommodating at another river kayak business, we called Wailua Kayak Adventures. They were so pleasant to deal with, and had the best prices, so we booked it. As we arrived, we were a bit put off by the pink office building, but that was a complete misjudgment! They were wonderful, warm people, and... More

My 70 year old friend and I (64) took this trip. Kayaking up the river was a bit challenging for me. I can canoe... But Brandon saved the day (. He had to tow us). The hike is rugged and a bit muddy in February. I'm fairly active and hardy. But if I do it again it will be with... More

We rented five double kayaks and one single for our self-guided tour of the Wailua River/Secret Falls. The couple running the store are so helpful and accommodating. For $50 we got a double kayak, oars, life jackets and dry bags. They helped us load the kayaks on our cars and gave us detailed instructions. There is no need to hire... More

Our resort Pono Kai hooked us up with this place for a guided tour but when we got there at our assigned time the man just showed us the map then said "Be back by 5". We had to navigate through the trails in the forest on our own and find the waterfall on our own! We took a wrong... More

This kayak business is run by a very friendly and helpful couple. They teach you about all the gear and give you a map with detailed instructions. We only rented the kayak and did not do the guided tour. We had a really great time just the two of us on the river, and enjoyed not being with a lot... More

SO IMPRESSED!!! When planning our family trip, my family's age range is from 51-22. We wanted an EPIC adventure well "we found it"! Our guide Forrest was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, so impressed with his energetic personality. We will definitely be back!!!!! - Katie Awesome day. For someone who is not a hiker. Our guide Forrest was so much... My husband and I did this trip on our first day on Kauai, and it is one of my favorite things that we did during the whole week there. A couple owns the company, and they were extremely nice and courteous when booking on the phone and when we checked in. They drive you to the harbor where your kayaks... More

We rented a two-person kayak for $90.00, and you can get a 5-hour tour for 50.00 per person, so renting yourself doesn't save much. We didn't want to be with a group. The guy renting wasn't there when we showed up at our assigned time, and he was of little or no help with the most nonchalant attitude we've ever... More

There were twelve of us in this group and we all went on tandem kayaks. Our guide was "Kyle" and he was the greatest! The river view was awesome and the waterfall was spectacular. They provided a dry bag and a cooler so we had our lunch at the waterfall. We will definitely do this again and recommend this as... More
