Please be advised that the trail leading to Secret Falls has been greatly improved since November 16th, 2014. A board walk has been installed to span the ditches which have been very muddy for many months. Although the trail is often muddy and slippery, the overall hiking experience is substantially better. For those of you who hiked the Secret Falls trail earlier this year, all of the kayak companies thank you for your patience and understanding that the rain forest trail is through a wilderness which is subject to Mother Nature's whimsical behavior. Mahalo nui loa and a hui hou!

My wife and I kayaked down the river today. Although I fished along the way and caught nothing, I had a great time. The kayaking was easy, the hiking no problem, and the falls were beautiful. Swimming under the falls was invigorating as the water was a bit chilly. The best surprise was our guide Lisa Lucas, author of "Seed... More

Absolutely brilliant trip. Our guide was superb. Note that the water at the falls is a little cold but well worth getting in. Bring old sneakers or you can purchase beach shoes at the starting off point. You will need something on your feet. Flip Flops will not be sufficient. On the way back down the river, the wind is... Great experience! Brandon's 2minute tour of Kapaa was exceptional; getting us there and back safe and sound pointing out all the interesting sights along the way. Katie's lead on the expedition was great! Keeping a rowdy group together and making sure the group didn't wander off too far. Perfect!

We booked this tour the day before and received excellent advice to wear proper footwear and bring a lunch and water and to arrive 15 minutes early. I was pleased to find a throw away shoe pile to select from and not have to wear my new pair. We were provided with a cooler pack and dry bag that strapped... More

There were only the two of us on this trip so we got all of Brandon's attention. He was very patient with our many questions and had all the answers even if he had to make them up. Enjoyed the leisurely paddle along the river, although my wife thought I spent too much time slowing her down. A short walk... More

We booked our tour before we left home. After arriving in Kauai, we had a conflict of activities so I called Kayak Wailua and they were able to change our time. Thank you for doing that! We had a wonderful morning. Our group ranged in age from 5 years old to us "seniors". The children were treated special by Kawika!... More

We did this last week while visiting Kauai. Brandon was a great guide, entertaining as well as very knowledgeable about Kauai history and lore. Fun way to spend an afternoon!

This was a great trip! Our guide Kawika was the best - funny, wisecrack, and a local who really knows what he is talking about. He took the time to learn everyone's name and where they were from - and actually remembered. This is a great outfit. There are not "on" the river and are at a remote site, which... More

I can't say enough good things about this company, and our guide Lisa. Everything was very professional and Lisa was amazing. So entertaining, patient and kind, We had never kayaked before, and, although it was more physically taxing than I had thought it would be, it was very pleasant and lots of fun. I do have a word of caution... More

Overall we had a good time on this trip. We were a little slower (5.5hrs) than others, but our guide was patient and understanding with the slower members which was very nice of her. I misread their website. It clearly states they provide the coolers, which they do. It's just 2 paragraphs lower they say byob ("bring our own food").... More

Aloha Keith! Thank you very much for your review of our kayaking adventure. I re-examined our website to have a look at the instructions to bring your own food. (By the way, nearly every visitor publication has a coupon for our free bottled water). Anyway, it is possible you might have confused our website with another company. We never say... More
