Please be advised that the trail leading to Secret Falls has been greatly improved since November 16th, 2014. A board walk has been installed to span the ditches which have been very muddy for many months. Although the trail is often muddy and slippery, the overall hiking experience is substantially better. For those of you who hiked the Secret Falls trail earlier this year, all of the kayak companies thank you for your patience and understanding that the rain forest trail is through a wilderness which is subject to Mother Nature's whimsical behavior. Mahalo nui loa and a hui hou!

Kayaking was one of the activities our daughter really wanted to do. I liked that this one was run by a local family. We made a reservation ahead of time and gave our CC number. I know they said they don't charge your card until the day of the trip but they never said you needed to bring your card... More

I recently did the kayak and hiking tour with Lisa. The views were beautiful and it was a lot of fun. We had two older ladies in our group who had a little trouble with parts of the hike and the end of the kayaking. Lisa was very kind, patient and accommodating. Everyone had a great time. Thanks again!

My wife and I booked a trip last week. Great experience. Very professional organization and customer oriented. Our guide Kawika was the best. He went out of his way to make the trip interesting. The river, hike and falls were beautiful. More reasonably priced than other outfitters. A must do when you are in Kauai.

Very organized company. Low key and friendly. Things ran very efficiently. Our guide (Katie) was friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend.

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a great time with Kayak Wailua. Our kids are 5 & 7 so they were able to fit us in a triple kayak with an extra seat. The kids had fun paddling in the opposite direction from us and trying to touch the other kayaks in our party with their... More

Never been kayaking before it was my absolute first time. Danica was our guide and she was so amazing and was super patient with us (my friend and I) She was so nice. She explained a lot on our hike to Wailua falls and was very nice about taking pictures for us.

We had a really great time on our trip! There were 6 or us, 2 being kids, so we were able to get the 3 person kayaks and the kids could sit in the middle and paddle, or splash people :). Our guide was Kawika and he was great! He really got the kids involved and just made the trip... More

Five of us took this river kayak/hike to the falls in february and it was money well spent. Our guide Kawika was awesome, providing both corny humour with knowledge of local flora and fauna and lots of local history. It was the perfect amount of time on the river and the hike was short enough not to get tedious. All... More

My wife and I kayaked down the river today. Although I fished along the way and caught nothing, I had a great time. The kayaking was easy, the hiking no problem, and the falls were beautiful. Swimming under the falls was invigorating as the water was a bit chilly. The best surprise was our guide Lisa Lucas, author of "Seed... More

Absolutely brilliant trip. Our guide was superb. Note that the water at the falls is a little cold but well worth getting in. Bring old sneakers or you can purchase beach shoes at the starting off point. You will need something on your feet. Flip Flops will not be sufficient. On the way back down the river, the wind is...
