The factory store is very small but the staff were very friendly and offered free samples. I'm not a cookie person but I did feel that these were good cookies.

While in Waikiki, you will see numerous Honolulu Cookie Company bumping with business. Here in Kauai there is Kauai Kookie. Smaller scale and more of a homemade taste of tropical flavors. Free samples are offered and make wonderful gifts from Kauai. I purchased the Limited Edition Rooster Cookies in Guava and Chocolate/Haupia Coconut - both wonderful!

This factory is kind of hidden but if you keep your eyes open while heading to Waimea Canyon you will find it on your right when you get to the town of Eleele. There is a small sign. A great place to pick up some of the famous Kauai Kooky-- they come in small 6 oz packages or in the... More

We made a special effort to stop in Hanapepe to check out the Kauai Kookie after a long hike through the canyon. Yum! We had a lot of fun visiting with the staff, and we taste-tested ourselves into a coma. We purchased many boxes of the butter shortbreads in pineapple, guava, traditional, and chocolate chip. Worth the stop on the... More

They are not shy about letting you try the cookies when you visit the factory store. They have butter versions of many of the original flavors now and they taste fantastic. We stopped in on the way home from a canyon hike and bought lots of tasty treats for snacks during the trip and to bring home so friends could... More

This is a place that you should definitely stop by if you are in the area. It is not too easy to locate but as you are approaching the town of Hanapepe from Lihue, it will be on your right. The factory itself is located here and there is a wide assortment of the famous Kauai Kooky and other cookie... More

We love Kauai Kookies, so we decided to visit the headquarters. We met Claire, who was happy to give us so many free samples! If you have a coupon, you can get $0.10 cents off each box of cookies with no limit ($2.29 – 0.10 = $2.19 each box.) We love their Chocolate Chip Macadamia, Kona Coffee Macadamia, Coconut Krispies,... More

I think the best part about Kauai Kookies is the ingredients in their cookies. You can actually identify all of them. No preservatives, nothing but the basics. Just like Mom would make. Even better is the price. You can buy gifts for all your friends and family for just a few dollars each and they'll all be happy. The store... More

This place really isn't much to look at. There is only a small store inside, and it's pretty much all cookies. HOWEVER, it's a great place to stop in and grab some edible souvenirs if you are in the area. The nice lady that works there will give you endless samples - which will in turn entice you to buy...
