This attraction is not the greatest in the world but if you have kids and and are either in Hanapepe for the Friday Street Fair or something else, I would take 5-10 minutes and check it out. It's safe and its a good opportunity for a cool photo. I would recommend it if you have the time.

During your visit to Hanapepe on Kauai's west side, don't miss taking a walk on the Swinging Bridge. It is located behind the Banana Patch Studio/Island Spice shops on the right hand side of the street as you are heading west. It's safe and well maintained and children will enjoy it.

It is worth it to see but there should be more on the other side once you cross. The town itself however was absolutely great. There's a small coffee/bake shop across the street and their food is absolutely amazing.

This was a nice side adventure we did on a Saturday morning. It's a very lovely quiet area and the scenery was beautiful. You can walk across the bridge to the other side. We visited some of the art galleries in town while we were there.

The Hanapepe Swinging Bridge is a good side trip if you have less than an hour to spare. Cross the bridge on a windy day, walk to the middle, feel the bridge swing, and take pictures. We enjoyed it.

We stopped at the Hanapepe Swinging Bridge. I really is not that much to see. You wa;k across a long swinging bridge over a muddy river. On the other side is the home of a photography artist. It was a nice way to stretch our legs before continuing on our sound end road trip.

Its fun to walk on if you have a child to do it with. But if you are all grown up and have limited time I would say you can skip it.

The bridge is cool, but there isn't much to look at. The water is dark and the landscape is nothing exciting. The other side of the bridge doesn't offer anything . If you are in the area, it is worth walking on the bridge. Otherwise, don't go out of your way.

My favorite part of this little town! Pretty long bridge across the channel & a gallery on the other side.
