We drove by the ranch and decided to stop to get info on tours. The woman working at the "sign-in" room was extremely rude from the start. She didn't greet us and after we said hello and asked for info, she rudely rushed through her explanations and seemed bothered that we were there (I should also mention that there was... More

Had a wonderful time on this adventure. Both our experience daughter and unexperienced mom were able to participate and enjoy. The lunch was basic but good. Views were fantastic. Waterfall pretty and refreshing to swim in after the ride. Our guide (AnnaLee) was very knowledgeable and clearly loved the horses and her job and set us all at ease -... More

This a real horseback ride. We took the waterfalls adventures with Vance. Ended up being just our family of five. The ride is open range and some trails. So definitely not your typical nose to tail saunter. Horses are a little more spunky than ones we have had on previous rides but this made it fun. We rode to the... More

Our family of four took the paniolo ride and had a terrific time. Beautiful horses - terrific guide (Lily). This is a very calm ride though the pastures and around the Princeville ranch. Beautiful pastures and even walked up to and through some of the grazing cows. We have done this during a few visits and I would recommend it... More

We chose this tour because we thought we'd have more freedom riding the horses since it advertised we could ride side by side. Well the horses thought otherwise. We felt it was another "controlled"/structured ride. The hike to and from the waterfall is somewhat demanding. You need to cross a waterfall and climb a wall, so if you're not in... More

Horseback riding was status quo, typical pack horses. Stopped and hiked to a beautiful waterfall and took a dip then had lunch. Afterwards hiked out and rode back. The scenery was breathtaking and the guide, Vance was lots of fun.

We called ahead and explained we owed a horse and one of us a highly experienced rider (3-4x a week for 25+ years, endurance racing, etc. etc.). We were assured that was understood and we arranged a private tour in order to make sure. At the onset our guide, while a nice person, treated us like pre-schoolers. We understand insurance... More

We did the waterfall picnic tour and had a blast! The scenery was beautiful, and the hike to the waterfall was well worth it. The horses are gorgeous and well taken care of, which is always nice to see. We had a wonderful experience.

A wonderful way to view the countryside of Kauai. Tour guides provide a nice overview of the history of the ranch, plants and animals. Be aware that there is a also a walking hike involved with some fairly steep climbs (uphill and downhill) to get to and return from the waterfalls.

We had a wonderful afternoon on the 'ride and waterfall dip' trip this afternoon. Our guide was AnnaLee who was one of the happiest souls I've ever encountered. It was lovely to hear her marveling aloud at the terrain as if it was the first time she'd ever seen it and she was charming to everyone in the group despite... More
