My favorite beach in Kauai. The sunsets are magical and there are rainbows every single day here. Words cannot describe the beauty of this beach and the beach shops are awesome and within walking distance.

The photos don't do this place justice. On a sunny day, the waters are crystal clear, and there are gorgeous views of the mountains/cliffs across the bay. I even saw a couple sea turtles swimming in the water when I went. If you're a photographer, this is a great place to get some photos. But everyone will enjoy the views... More

Perfect for panoramic shots. You cannot take a bad photo here. There are great views of the waterfalls nearby as well.

This pier has been in many movies but is much nicer in person. No explosions, shooting, just great views and water!

We were able to share this fantastic experience with the entire family during our christmas holiday here. The picturesque walk down the Pier was fantastic. The kids loved the view of "Puff".

Hanalei Bay is huge, so pick your spot wisely. We just wanted to see the pier and our kids wanted to jump off. So did about 100 other local teenagers on summer break. It was extremely crowded, loud and rowdy. I bet it would be better on a weekday when school is in session. Just not our scene that particular... More

The beach was very crowded and you can actually park your vehicles on the sand which added to the congestion. The water was nice and clear and I took some nice pics from the pier.

This was a fun place to hang out with the locals. We loved taking sunset photos on the beach and my teen-aged daughters got creative with the sunset silhouettes. We were able to find parking and went a couple evening to watch the sun set. Very picturesque!

This place is by far the best place to see the sun set. Along with the beautiful views you get to see where locals gather. The pier is a nice walk but kind of crowded on the weekend.
