The pier really is nice of its kind, well-built with a roof to provide shade as one watches and photographs the premier learning to surf beach. It even has seating at a picnic table set in the center. We saw one professional photo of the sun setting when someone just happened to jump off the pier in the perfect place... More

This is just one of the nicest beaches imagineable! The photo opps are endless. Make sure you drive the shoreline up to the Napali coast. You will never forget how beautiful this part of the island is.

This beach is absolutely breathtaking especially on clear day. The parking is usually a little rough be is is so popular, you can rent at Kayak at Hanalei kayak and cruise down the river to the beach where you can park kayak, get out and enjoy the scenery

My daughter had knee surgery before our visit and it was a place she could go and wheel herself and see the ocean and good views. The sand was also firmer which helped us navigate in her chair or crutches. We stayed for a few hours.

My new husband and I loved stopping by the pier and it made for some great photos! This is a must if you are on the north shore of Kauai. It cannot disappoint.

This is a really great beach. Water was warm and welcoming, surfers and bodyboarders and paddlers had plenty of room. We could walk all the way out to the pier as the water was shallow enough to do so. It was great! The mountains overlooking make for amazing scenery and photo opportunities. The only problem was the toilet which stank... More

walking out to covered pier, you may see fish as you walk along. Once out there, great view of Hanalei Beach and bay from a different angle. Remember to take your camera.

A visit to Princeville would not be complete without a stop here, if not a jump off the end of the pier. Though the signs will warn you otherwise, you will see children as young as 6 jumping off the pier and swimming to the beach or climbing up the ladder to do it again. This is a protected bay...
