This pier has been there longer than most of us who visit the area. This is the same pier that you have seen in many movies, including South Pacific. They did many scenes from the movie there and on that beach, and the St Regis on the right is the land with "Frenchie" had his beautiful house. Watch the movie... More

Very relaxing, visited the pier and stayed at the beach. Was a windy day, enjoyed watching small children surfing.

We love Hanalei. Beautiful view! Great place for sitting on the beach and playing in the water. Most recently we were there when it was quite stormy. Still enjoyed walking on the beach. The view is spectacular!

The pier was featured in South Pacific and it still offers great views and memories. Watch the kids surf and the waves break.

Nice covered spot to sit and eat a bite while you watch the people body surf and catch small surf waves. Not a long pier either so nice for any age.

If the view of the Na Pali coast from Ke'e Beach gives you a glimpse of the soul of Kauai, time spent at the Pier and surrounding beaches of Hanalei Bay reveal the heart of the north shore community. We usually visit in January when swimming is not recommended for anyone other than surfers, but there is plenty to see... More

Great place for senior citizens to watch surfing if they have physical disabities. Great views! We were there when Make a Wish we're hosting and teaching kids to surf!

The north shore of Kauai is beautiful and Hanalei Pier is a great place to see Hanalei Bay and beach. The pier is not long and has a covered area at the end with picnic tables. It is a bit hard to find so make sure you have good directions.

Don't miss this beach and the pier. For photographers, use your imagination and you will love the photo ops. Some very good shots in the evening and even in the middle of the day if you use the pier. For families who just want to swim in the ocean...you will not be disappointed.

It's "just" a pier, but what a pier it is. The view in unbelievable: mountains and oceanfront. We stopped and got lunch from Pat's Taqueria before walking out on the pier. This place is just so serene and peaceful. I would love to just sit and read a book here.
