For e first time ever (as noted by the boat captain) their engine wouldn't start at the start of the dive. However Chris helped make a great couple shore dives with us, turning a bad situation into a pretty darn good one. He was a great dive master and master of go with the flow, even looking for an alternate... More

The folks that run Bubbles Below are pleasant enough, but they really need to offer a dive platform that has better creature comforts. If you sign up for either the Nihau or Mana Crack dives you will be spending a lot of travel time on the boat. Not having a toilet on board or a proper canopy to block the... More

Bubbles Below was able to squeeze my fiance and I in when another company had technical difficulties and had to cancel. The crew was jovial and the equipment was okay. My dive computer had a low battery and I ended up having to follow the dive guide. You barely have to lift a finger. There wasn't much individual attention but... More

I am certified, my child is not. We dove with the owner, on a Discover Scuba dive who took my child by the hand through the entire first dive, while she learned to clear her ears. Luckily, by the second dive, my child learned how to go a little deeper, and was able to swim without being held by the... More

The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for better people to dive with. We dove 4 days with both Captain Earl (adore this salty dog) and the spirited and energetic Captain Linda (owner). The boats are a little older but they are fast and sturdy and captain Earl handles rough seas amazingly! They do the Niihau crossing... More

My son isn't a certified diver but I am. I got him into the Discover Scuba class. After a 2hr orientation we went out on a 2 tank boat dive. We dove two seperate sites. It was pretty rough and my son got sea sick. It didn't slow him down any. They were Very good with the new divers. Lots... More

They were able the day before to leave a message on my hotel voice mail to be sure to be on time the next morning. I have e-mail, voice mail and txt on my phone, yet I had to get up at 5:30AM; drive 55 min, then wait until 7:15 (they are suppose to open at 7AM), to find out... More

Bubbles Below is in my opinion the #1 dive operator on the island of Kauai. Linda and her crew treat everyone like family, offering professional training, dive guiding, and more! Her respect for the sea, and her passion for sharing her vast knowledge of the ocean environment, makes a day on, and under, the water with them something that will... More

Everyone we dealt with was super-knowledgeable and professional. Great captain (we saw dolphins and turtles galore and got a ton of local knowledge about the coastline and the island). Great DM (fantastic at picking sites and finding cool stuff, very focused on diver safety). Great owner. This is not a cookie cutter/we treat everyone like a number dive operation. They... More

I dove with bubbles below in June took me a while to write review! Niihau was the best hawaii diving I've done there. Except for the mante ray dive with jack's dive locker on the big island. Diving with a large monk seal was lot's of fun. The trip over and back not so fun! Two and half hours getting... More
