We have been on Na Pali boat trips many times, including with Holo Holo, which has become our favorite company. This time, I decided to take the extended tour to Niihau, and it was definitely a "not to be missed" experience. Despite the fact that we had a pretty full tour, the boat did not feel crowded, and the crew... More

I enjoyed the sunset cruise along the Na Pali coast, and it was a blast. We rode aboard the Leila, ably operated by Captain Kelly and a tremendous crew of helpers - David, Wade, and Eli. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to assist. First, you need to know that you will probably get wet on this trip. It's... More

We were in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai for our honeymoon. We went on the sunset cruise of the Na Pali coast, and it was one of our very favorite activities. The crew was friendly and fun, and also knowledgeable and capable. The boat itself was comfortable, plenty of seating both covered and uncovered. The boat ride was exciting... More

The Na Pali coast in Kauai’s far north features some of the most spectacular scenery in all of the Hawaiian Islands. This region is inaccessible, except for the most intrepid of backpackers or on a helicopter tour for a few minutes only … or by boat. Yes, a helicopter tour can be thrilling, but a boat tour allows you to... More

Having grown up in Honolulu, the enticement of being any where near Niihau was too much to pass up. Wow! Captain Wendell and his crew of Kamo and Ahren are about your safety first, everything else comes afterward. What a day! It started with bottle-nosed dolphins leading us out of the harbor, then within minutes we were surrounded by spinner... More

We went on the Napali coast cruise. The catamaran had a very rude female captain; even the staff seemed a bit embarrassed by her. The snorkeling spot she choose was not good: murky water and no fish. Not even an enjoyable swim. I understand that the ocean creates conditions beyond human control, but the way the captain handled ordering everybody... More

We started the cruise with a run down of safety and then got on the charter boat. It is a barefoot cruise (no shoes allowed). The staff was helpful and attentive, drinks and food were included and the staff were quick with the drinks. The food was buffet style and although it was not a fancy meal it was still... More

We did the 5 hour snorkeling and sail of Na'pali coast out of Port Allen. Snorkeling was not great but we were not at their usual spot. Crew was excellent and the scenery is among the best in the world. Highly recommend both this tour and the company. The size of this companies tour seems to be smaller than others... More

Aloha! Aboard the sailing catamaran 'Leila' we are truly able to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Kauai's coastline! The Napali Snorkel sail is an all inclusive tour at an excellent value for families. Snorkeling conditions and locations do vary from day to day and humpback whales are normally actively spotted in our waters between December thru April. Thank you for... More

I signed up for a day trip with Holo Holo. It was amazing. You can't beat these guys. First the good: This boat offers corrective lens masks, floatation devices, and the ships crew is well versed on maritiime safety and passenger safety. We were able to circle the entire island, visit the forbidden island, but you can only get so... More

Yay! You had quite the day :) HoloHolo Charters began with circumnavigating the island of Kaua'i. Today that trip is offered only on an exclusive basis or on days like yours when the conditions are right and our customers say go for it! The other obscure island you mentioned is Lehua crater, Lehua is a small, crescent-shaped island only 0.7... More

We snorkeled in pristine fish filled waters off Niihau and Lehua just on the shelf edge where the drop was so deep you could not see bottom The ledge had gorgeous coral and multitudes of varities of large and reef fish We saw a curious seal come up from the depths to check us out:) The crew was very attentive...
