On the many things on my bucket list, this one takes the cake. The world you will see in the Hawaiian ocean will absolutely amaze you. I'm very fortunate to have booked with Blue Wilderness; after finding every dive shop was booked weeks in advance and nearly booking a shore dive with one of the other dive shop's employee (as... I earned my open water diving certificate this past July. I was very apprehensive at the beginning, but my instructor Kevin was reassuring, understanding and very accommodating of my mental monkeys. I completed the open water requirements and did the manta ray night dive. The shop is in Queens marketplace and has everything you need or forgot for diving. The... More

This was the third year in a row my husband and I have been diving with these guys. We are spoiled rotten by this outfit for many reasons. 1) They are located in the Kohala Coast area near the resorts. You do not have to make the long drive to Kona for diving, if you are staying up north. 2)... More

On Saturday we did the evening scuba dive to watch the Manta Rays, it was so incredible it is hard to put into words. I would agree with some that say it is one of the top ten things to do in your lifetime. We have been diving with Blue Wilderness this week and part of next week. The boat... More

My wife and I got married in September and we decided to go the big Island for the honey moon. We decided to go for the Scuba diving for the non-certified (That's us!) package. Kevin was our instructor/guide. He kept an eye on us in every step of the way. He was very patient especially when we weren't able to... More

We did nighttime Manta Ray snorkeling with Kevin and Tony. Kevin gave a quick and helpful description of the forthcoming experience about the manta rays themselves, as well as all throughout the snorkeling. The entire crew made sure that everyone was comfortable and re-adjusted our lights/position to make sure we would get close to manta rays while underwater. There were... More

I have had the opportunity to dive with this company on many occasions, they are the most professional , courteous , and awesome crew you could ever ask for. World Class diving just a short boat ride from where they launch @ Puako boat ramp. If you plan on visiting the Big Island , and would like to dive or... More

2-tank dive just north of Hilton resort area. Short ride on boat, ocean was as calm as a lake that day. Mostly around 40', but started one dive at 75'. Absolutely worth doing - 4 divers to a guide and only 8 (divers) on the boat. Will take companion snorkelers. Great guides!

Only one word can describe our experience with Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures (BWDA) and that is AWESOME! After 20 years of talking about getting certified my husband and I decided to go for it on a recent vacation to the Big Island. We were first impressed when we went on BWDA's night Manta Ray snorkel/dive adventure, which, BTW, was amazing!... More

These guys know their stuff. Thanks to Kevin, Tony, and Eric for a great experience on the Big Island. Next time I am planning more dives with these guys.
