I recently travelled to the Big Island of Hawaii and was fortunate to select Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures for the diving. I hate cattle boats - which is why I love Blue Wilderness - they only took out a small group of divers yet had a good ratio of dive masters to divers. On several of our dives, we had... More

Did a two tank dive with Blue Wilderness and loved the experience. There were 6 of us with 2 dive masters. Had plenty of time to explore some fabulous reefs. A member of our party had a hard time equalizing her ear and the dive master stayed right with her and helped her along. Love the smaller group that went... More

My first dive after being PADI certified in 1982 was in Maui in 2010. This time, I went to "The Big Island." I found Blue Wilderness at the "Queens" mall in Waikoloa. The staff there were very friendly and encouraging, especially since I indicated this would be my first boat dive. The boat crew/dive masters, David and Tony, bent over... More

The staff seemed experienced and were friendly. It was a fairly typical dive operation I think. They dive from a boat landing near the hotels on the Kona coast meaning there isn't a long trek in Kailua-Kona to meet first, which I liked. The operation is relatively small so the dive groups were small. The prices are reasonable. Overall I... More

These guys were great! The boat was small and I had to don the BC and tank unit, as well as my fins in the water. But they were very helpful in getting this done. The dive was great. The Captain and the dive master were both laid back and very nice. On the dive I lost my wedding ring... More

My family just returned from Hawaii where we went on 3 Dive Trips with Blue Wilderness. I received my PADI certification, my son is Padi certified and Anna our 12 year old daughter went under the Discovery Dive program. The big pluses for us is that this is a smaller more personal type of operation and not one of the... More

I loI loved this dive company. They are located at such a great spot for people staying in Waikoloa Village. It was a nice small group of divers, and we felt it was a very personal experience. We saw so much sea life, as well as humpback whales while we were in the boat! We didn't have a dive camera,... More

I went with Blue Wilderness Dive adventures on a Whale Watch trip. I don't scuba myself, but my family and I wanted an intimate experience as opposed the the "cattle boats" that hold something like 50 people. My family and I Snorkeled while the divers went out, after that we went whale watching and saw at least 3 whales and... More

"We just spent 6 days diving with Blue Wilderness Dive adventures. The staff was very attentive and we feel very spoiled by their great service. Each day we were brought to new spots, our gear was washed and ready for us when we arrived at the boat each morning. We went on a night dive combination of a reef dive... More
