I have dived with this firm many times, the owner Denise is nothing short of fantastic, the crew in the store and the boat are every bit as good. They are all very focussed on delivering a quality, personalized service with safety as an absolute key. They are the only group I know of that operate a manta dive, where... More

I booked the manta ray dive experience while we were there to avoid the crowds in Kona and because this operation was near our accommodations. The manta rays never showed up…which is not why I was most disappointed. I completely understand they are wild animals and are not guaranteed, as I have been diving for 10+ years. What is disappointing... More

I booked two days of diving with Blue Wilderness in August 2015. Overall it was a great experience. The diving was outstanding but the people really made all the difference. Professional and friendly without the attitude that is often found when diving in resort areas. The overall setup was great. The boat departs from Puako boat landing around 7:45am with... More

Great people and shop. They took me on short notice, a couple of days, for the Discover Scuba program. The people were professional and made the trip fun. I had done discover scuba before at other places so I had an idea of what to expect and found that they did it well, making sure everyone could do the skills... More

We recently stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area and rented dive equipment & tanks from Blue Wilderness. They took care of all our needs and worked around our schedule since we were only shore diving. When we return to the area we will rent from them again and I would recommend them for your dive equipment & tank needs if... More

We rented 5 items of snorkel gear from Blue Wilderness $25 each/day for the week. $60 each/day for the week at the Waikoloa Hilton rental shop. Huge savings and nice guys.

My wife and I have been diving with Blue Wilderness on three separate vacations and each time they continue to amaze. They've grown since our initial adventures and training with them. Kevin, Alice, Tony, and Eric were SUPER attentive to our requests to go in search of specific sea life. Each time not only finding but exceeding those requests. Oh,... More

Just returned from a 10-day holiday to Waikoloa and the Big Island, much of that time being spent in the company of Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures. Group in included myself, a moderately experienced OW diver; my son, OW certified but had never dived post-cert; and my daughter and son-in-law, both of whom were finishing OW certification. My wife accompanied us... More

A delightful snorkel trip to view the amazing Manta Rays at night. We were well cared for by the staff, from the booking process to the adventure. Kevin and his captain provided fun, information, and good care. We would not hesitate to recommend this business for a once in a lifetime experience!

We would like to first thank the crew and staff of Blue Wilderness for their hospitality and honesty in the business. We initially booked the night manta ray dive and really looked forward to the experience. When we got to the dock everything was ready, crew was positive and the event started on time. We arrived at the dive site,... More
