They helped certfy my children and me, did 3 discover dives, and a manta ray dive and snorkel experience

All without a hitch. The whole crew was professional and incredibly patient. I will continue to use Dave, Tony, Kevin, and the crew for as long as I go to the Big Island. Much... read more

My 16 year old son and I went through the Open Water certification with Blue Wilderness over Christmas 2015. We completed the PADI course on-line prior to traveling to Hawaii. Once there, Alice Thigpen was our instructor for both the pool and open water dives. Alice was great; patient but thorough in her training with me and my son, and... More

They provide night diving experience with Manta Rays. The equipment is great quality, they are excellent instructors and incredibly friendly. Maybe not the cheapest but you are getting quality service. And meeting mantas in the deep dark blue will be something I will never forget in a lifetime! No words will do it justice. They also cater for non-accredited divers... More

I highly recommend this, yes it may seem scary but believe me and many others it was worth the nerves! Once you are in the water with those beautiful creatures you have a whole new respect for them! You have to try this, I enjoyed it so much that I am already booking my next trip with friends. Odette and... More

This is the 2nd year I war Diving with Blue Wildeness. The diving was fabulous and on Thursday a huge pod of Dolphins swam by us, it as soooo cool. I really like diving off their boat, it just makes diving much easier. Shouts out to Kevin, Tony and Alice.

All I can say is if you only do one dive in your life on the Big Island, you do the night Manta dive. My wife and I finished our AOW certification. Kevin was an outstanding instructor. He was patient, while allowing us to experience for ourselves safely. The rental equipment was excellent quality. I strongly recommend Blue Wilderness regardless... More

Went diving with these guys while staying on the big island and it was super. Did the 2 tank morning dive and saw some really neat stuff. Turtles eels and lots of fish! Alice and Tony were both great making me feel completely safe but also making the trip fun! This was my first dive after doing open water certification... More

So glad to have a dive shop in waikoloa since we stay at mauna Lani . We rented tanks and weights for a shore dive, very friendly young man helping us our only complaint was the shop didn't open until 9:30. We were able to refill our tanks for the next morning so that was convenient. We also did a... More

We were at the Mauna Lani resorts to the north of Kona and initially I only found dive outfits that were 45-60 drive to the south of us. That would make the dive say even longer than usual. I finally discovered Blue Wilderness, which was a 10' drive and their dive sites were all within 30-45 minutes of their boat... More
