This is the 2nd year I war Diving with Blue Wildeness. The diving was fabulous and on Thursday a huge pod of Dolphins swam by us, it as soooo cool. I really like diving off their boat, it just makes diving much easier. Shouts out to Kevin, Tony and Alice.

All I can say is if you only do one dive in your life on the Big Island, you do the night Manta dive. My wife and I finished our AOW certification. Kevin was an outstanding instructor. He was patient, while allowing us to experience for ourselves safely. The rental equipment was excellent quality. I strongly recommend Blue Wilderness regardless... More

Went diving with these guys while staying on the big island and it was super. Did the 2 tank morning dive and saw some really neat stuff. Turtles eels and lots of fish! Alice and Tony were both great making me feel completely safe but also making the trip fun! This was my first dive after doing open water certification... More

So glad to have a dive shop in waikoloa since we stay at mauna Lani . We rented tanks and weights for a shore dive, very friendly young man helping us our only complaint was the shop didn't open until 9:30. We were able to refill our tanks for the next morning so that was convenient. We also did a... More

We were at the Mauna Lani resorts to the north of Kona and initially I only found dive outfits that were 45-60 drive to the south of us. That would make the dive say even longer than usual. I finally discovered Blue Wilderness, which was a 10' drive and their dive sites were all within 30-45 minutes of their boat... More

My son and I went out on a two-tank morning dive last Saturday. Blue Wilderness is a small operation based out of Waikoloa but they exemplify the Island values of Aloha e komo mai. We got to the landing at Puako just as they were putting the RHIB in the water. They told us to just toss our gear up... More

We dove with Blue Wilderness in September of 2014 and then again earlier this month. It's always good to see a dive operator that retains its team year after year, and it was wonderful diving again with Kevin and Tony. Both remembered us from last years' excursions. I honestly can't think of any cons about diving with Blue Wilderness -... More

I had 2 dives in the morning with Kevin and Tony- competent, knowledgable and helpful staff - easy diving, comfortable boat. I used the rental gear which was quite ok, a broken mouthpiece was fixed immediately, dry storage on board, detailed safety and dive briefing. Quick trip from the jetty to dive sites, great biscuits at surface interval. Would definitely... More

I have dived with this firm many times, the owner Denise is nothing short of fantastic, the crew in the store and the boat are every bit as good. They are all very focussed on delivering a quality, personalized service with safety as an absolute key. They are the only group I know of that operate a manta dive, where... More
