I had a tight and sore back from swimming and golfing. I had a 80 min. deep tissue massage and I never felt so good! I felt like meditating on the point afterwards,( did briefly) and my golf swing was back ! a little spendy, but worth it.. :-) Thank you! I think her name was Linda?

Kohola Spa is actually very nice. There are some wear and tear issues from chips in the wood lockers to shower knobs coming off. But for the most part it's very clean and well-kept. The dry sauna did not heat up that well. But the wet sauna was awesome. There's a really nice whirlpool in the women's section. Plenty of... More

Fantastic spa and salon. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Renewal experience, which includes a salt scrub, massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. The Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage is the best massage I've had. Each service provider was friendly and skilled. Spa has a very nice locker room, shower area, saunas and outdoor hot tub.

We got a couples massage and it was very relaxing. Both therapists worked out our knots and we left feeling awesome. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well.

This is the worst spa I've been to. If it were less expensive I would have given it two stars, but the little you get for the price you pay is outrageous. I came to the resort for the Kona marathon with my husband so we thought it would be nice to get a couples massage the following day. The... More

My favorite part was the personal coaching by Gwen for meditation and tai chi. Wow! Amazing experience. Gwen was engaging, delightful and extremely knowledgeable in the arts. She provided me with the basics, and I found myself doing as she suggested to help ground myself. I would absolutely recommend the private two hour session to everyone! It's really too bad... More

I had a massage here in April , 2015. It was mediocre, at best. Certainly not worth $180. 1. I asked the masseuse (whose name I won't post here) not to touch one part of my body that was very sensitive. It was my only request, and she forgot and hurt me when she rubbed it. 2. My masseuse scratched... More

The people that cleaned the room had done an exceptional job. When I got back into the room its as if I was there my first time. The people there were so friendly and kind.

Husband and I had a couples massage ($550) and used the spa facilities (steam room, whirlpool etc.) before the session. We have definitely enjoyed nicer spas (aka Mandarin in NYC) and we were kind of surprised by the lack of amenities in the dressing room after the session when we were cleaning up. Service was not terribly attentive and there... More

I had the most incredible massage at Kohala Spa. I had the 80-Minute Hot Rocks massage. My therapist Oriona (not sure about spelling) was curtious, professional, and friendly. It was like no other massage I have ever had. It was my second time receiving a hot rocks massage. Even though I thought my 1st was fantastic this was even better.... More
