Nice beach, lots of shade under palm trees and big canopy of trees by cement area. If you get there early they have chaise lounge chairs on a first come first serve basis. Bathrooms and outdoor shower area. Snorkeling was not very clear, but did see two turtles on my last day.

My wife and I have been to this beach, called A-Bay, more than a dozen times in our visits to the Big Island. The beach is easily accessible, has a fantastic view, superb sunsets, and you might even get to use the free lounge chairs. One of the best beaches north of the airport and a "must" if you are... Nce beach in Waikoloa area north of Kona and the airport. Known as "A-Bay" because the name is a mouthfull. Nice thing about this beach is availability of free beach chairs. Shade available in the monings. Gentle sloping entry into water. Almost no surge. No surf.

It didn't stop us from trying though. This beach is the ocean side of the Marriott. It is lovely, and we watched the sun set here a couple of times. Beautiful. Not great snorkeling though. It was very cloudy. If you're just beach-going though, don't pass this one up.

Our resort was located on this beach. Good for kayaking, snorkeling, sunning and swimming. The equipment rental is right on the beach, Very convenient.

This stretch of beach is lovely for a short visit. There are however far better beaches in the area a little more accessible. If you happen to be near Anaehoomalu, then by all means check it out.

I get that we all have to go sometimes. But the guys peeing next to the cottages - really that's disgusting. Please take that stuff to cancun. Nice beach except for drunk kids ghettoing up the beach peeing everywhere. Should I public shame the dude with a pict I accidentally took while doing his deed? Hmmm

This was a nice area/beach near our hotel. We did find other beaches that we liked better with better snorkeling but this one was good for relaxing/swimming.

Both black and white rocks. The sunset was so lovely and breathtaking from this spot. It would be great place for quiet reflection.
