If swells are bigger than 4 feet not easy to swim and not worth it to snorkel. Lots of shade and chaise chairs for beach time. Beautiful place - we will try again when the weather is calmer.

Rocky in Ocean with Poor Cloudy Visibility. Very poor snorkeling except for the turtle I saw. The water is so cloudy it’s like looking through a layer of dirt. There is a walk at the north end of the beach that is 5-stars and very nice. Free parking and nice bathrooms.

This used to be one of the best beaches on the island. Was disappointed this trip as it was dirty with trash. It is a big beach with a mild surf. Marriott at one end and a state park like on the other. There are a couple better beaches within a 10 minute drive.

Love how close it is and the activities Too silty which hurts the snorkelling. Too much fertilizer runoff from the resorts

This beach is easy to get to and reasonably good. When the water is calm the snorkeling is good. Plenty of shade.

Nice beach to hang out and catch some rays. Water can be a little murky for snorkeling, due to on shore winds stirring up the sand, but still okay. Good access, with parking area next to the Marriott.

Water was very murky, saw only a few fish - maybe it was the time of day or wind stirring up the water - had been here a few years ago and was much better snorkeling..Free parking and bathrooms though so this was nice. Saw way more fish and turtles further north at Mauna lani Resort area, and then way... More

This beach is referred to as "A Bay" and is easily accessible with a large free parking lot. There is a public bathroom. It connects (north end) to the Marriott resort beach, so you can rent cabanas there and they have a snack shack there as well. In addition they rent kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, etc. The glass bottom... More
