Best place for custom artistic glassworks.

Smaller works also available within the souvenir shop at Volcano National Park. Sort of out of the way between Hilo and Volcano, at about the 24 mile marker from Hilo town.

The art gallery is off the beaten track, but the small road signs give you directions. This glass work is amazing - husband and wife really know their art and chemistry and produce beautiful colors and unique works. We fell in love with several items, and also noticed that local businesses (restaurants) have purchased their work, Prices are reasonable, the... More

On our way to Volcano National park we see the sign for the glass company. We decide to take a detour and started driving down this small road. We thought we may have misread the sign but then up on the right came the property. It looks like a house. The showroom is small but they have really beautiful pieces.... More

So, these guys are off the beaten path, and a little hard to find. Go up the road to the volcano, and look for the signs pointing to their shop. If you can kinda pay attention, you can find it. This is a no-frills operation. It's a house, a workshop, and a display room. They work on their projects right... More

This is a little studio that is tucked away in the Volcano village. The artist is a very talented chap and took great pride in talking to us about his work. There is the most amazing glass designs that will blow your mind. It should be on everyone's list to visit.

I went to the studio and was blown away by the quality of work, and the relaxed atmosphere. We were able to look around at our leisure and felt no pressure to buy (although we did!) A peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Upon returning to the mainland I wanted to purchase some of their work and contacted the studio... More

We were told by our B & B hosts that we should check this place out. It's a small outlet and studio run by a friendly couple and their very mellow and friendly dogs. A modest selection of very good pieces available ranging from museum quality art pieces, to jewellery and practical vases and the like. Well worth the visit.

I saw this place listed on TA and was surprised to think I had never taken the time to visit. Heck, I didn't know it was in the area. On this trip to Volcano I wanted to do something different than just hike the national park. The quality and craftsmanship of the glass at this place is amazing. I was... More

I've been here twice. One time a year or so ago with family we stopped and they were actually blowing glass when we arrived. Super friendly to us and they have a place where you can watch them work not 15ft away!!! Was awesome to see him make a glass while teaching a student it appeared. Very nice gift shop... More
