We stopped and did the premium wine tasting. This was a fun take. There were 4 of us and we all liked a different wine as our favorite. The young Woman (Alana - probably misspelled) who took care of our tasting was absolutely wonderful, full of personality, beautiful and of course very knowledgeable. A pleasure to speak with.

This place is in the heart of Volcano community. When we arrive the store front beckons us with colorful glasses displaced in the window. The place is small but don't let the size fool you. When we entered the winery we were greeted and asked if we need some assistance. At the time we declined and were respectfully given an... More

We were part of a group of 10 who toured this winery. The owner and his wife greeted us. The owner took us on a quick tour of the grounds where we got to see the plants. In addition to grapes, they grow tea, olives and fig trees. In addition, we heard a little bit about how they got started... More

We stopped at Volcano Winery after touring Volcano National Park. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would rate the experience five of five stars. This is a small winery that makes wines with a decidedly Hawaiian theme. It is not Napa caliber, nor does it pretend to be such. There is a charge for tasting. This is Hawaii, and tourist... More

Stopped by after a day at Volcanoes National Park to do their full-menu wine tasting. We were the only ones in the winery, so we got terrific service and explanations of each wine. Staff was very friendly and conversational. Hawaii isn't the first place that comes to mind when you think of good wine, but Volcano Winery compensates by adding... More

The Volcano Winery is a delightful stop while in Hilo or visiting Volcano National Park. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the wines grown on the vineyard and fruits that are brought in from surrounding local farms. The wine is crisp and delicious! They definitely have a Hawaiian flavor! Tasting 8 wines was only $8, much cheaper than... More

I absolutely loved this winery! We did the premium tasting...and got cheese and crackers. Everyone was so nice and we got to meet the owners who also lived in new jersey for a period of time. I also loved that they sold jewelry from a local artist. Such a nice place with great people. Thank you :) Lacey and John

We did their 8 selection tasting. The wine they make is on the sweeter side for my taste but worth a try. Their infused tea wine was very good mixing sweet wine and cutting it with tea leaves.
