Lived all the wines we did the full tasting $8. The girl who rain the tasting had a great personality and even though she hasn't lived here long she was good for tips on sight seeing also. Loved the unique blends! The creativity of the blends made it really a unique experience. I would say it is a must visit... More

When you aren't sure where to go for breakfast and its already 10 AM, you might as well have wine for breakfast. We enjoyed our time with Joy and even shared some favorite sea glass beaches. The Volcano Red was our favorite and we made sure when we got to Kauai we hit up Safeway to pick up a bottle.

On a cruise, left from Vancouver, 5 days sail to Hawaii, then 5 days on a mixture of all islands, then 4 days sail to California. A wonderful trip and the Volcano Winery was one of the highlights. A small vineyard with exceptional choices. My wife and I do not pretend to be wine snobs by any means. However, we... More

Laid back and enjoyable. We toured as part of another tour group with Kapohoine Adventures and got a peek at the vineyard and a short chat with the vintner. We had a full flight tasting accompanied by cheese and crackers. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the visit a very pleasant one.

Excellent tasting sessions available at any given moment. Fantastic wines with incredible complexity. A wonderful opportunity. The cost of the wines is reasonable and can be further reduced using coupons found in common tourist pamphlets.

Some of the wine tastings I have done in the past have been very rushed, but that is most definitely not the case here! First of all the wines are delicious - the flavors from the fruity ingredients are so refreshing and make for very unique wines. I know nothing about wine, but I really enjoy when the person leading... More

Here is a chance for visitors to sample wines produced by a Volcano vintner. Besides grape wines, you can have a chance to try different combinations using local fruit like jaboticaba. The staff is very friendly and very willing to give you information on the wines and some pairing ideas. Our favorite wine is the Volcano Red. After your wine... More

This pleasant little wine shop could be located in California wine country until you look closely at the labels and see Macadamia Nut Honey wine, Infusion Tea wine and Hawaiian Guava Wine. Taste a variety, including 100% grape wines, like the Cayuga White, which is clean and crisp, the semi-sweet Symphony Mele and a medium body Pinot Noir. The popular... More

It's an adorable little place near the VNP. The walls are lined with colorful photos of lava flows and blue and green wine glasses. As we tried 7 wines, we ate crackers with sundries tomato, basil cheese. We engaged in a conversation with the owner; she was from Jersey and her winery had earned many Fingerlake awards! Small world! Nice... More

We stopped by this winery to fill time after biking in the Volcano National Park (waiting for dark to see the lava). What an enjoyable side trip! Got to taste seven of their wines - liked most of them! The Volcano Red was especially good.
