Had been before on a previous trip. Tasting is a good deal. Server was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Didn't realize they offered some small plates (saw crackers and dip go out to 2 groups) would've ordered that had we known. Sadly they don't ship to WI so we only ended up purchasing what we could drink while on island. I'd... More

Was not sure what to expect from a volcano winery and it was very good tour. We got to see an actual CORK tree and also got to see how tea is grown and harvested. The wine tasting was a good variety and had some interesting takes on mead. Would recommend the tour and tasting experience.

We enjoy wine tasting everywhere we go and this was worth the stop. Between the climate and some unique varietals, they put out some very good wine.

Very friendly staff and interesting wines that were like no others that I've had before. Just a short drive from the national park, worth a visit.

i'm not a wine snob. I don't subscribe to any wine magazines. I do enjoy a good glass of wine with a meal, & on occasion will even pair mines with my more elaborate menu s (I am, apparently, a foodie...), & I really enjoy finding unconventional wines. the volcano winery, at the tail end of a lovely scenic drive,... The wines are very unique but tasty and our wine pourer was very knowledgeable and nice. A relaxing end to a day of hiking!

We visited briefly on our way from Volcano to Hilo. Winery is in a nice setting, staff are friendly & describe the wines well but after the tasting we didn't really enjoy any enough to buy.

Great little place. Nice wines. Tasted all of them for a very fair tasting price. They offer a few options for cracker and cheese plates and have coffees, teas, gifts. They ship to California, but are not distributed here. You can order online and they do have a wine club (I have yet to visit a winery that doesn't). Friendly.... More

I really enjoyed the little winery. We picked up some lunch before heading to VNP, and after doing the Iki Trail decided to take a lunch break and found our way to the winery. It was hard to find( sort of), since there is no sign on the main hi way, but keep in mind its very close, the drive... More
