This is a fairly small winery which may be worth the visit if you have plenty of time in the area. If you are pressed for time spend it in the park.

If you know anything about what good wine tastes like stay away from this place. We ended up buying 2 bottles - one of the symphony white, and one pinot noir. We bought the wine because the girls at the desk - who, by the way, are not from Hawaii, we so kind and we felt bad. Anyway, we cracked... More

Visited last week and really enjoyed the wine tasting; I liked virtually all of the wines offered except the Tea Infused Wine. We arrived 1/2 hour before closing so I was afraid we would feel rushed but we received great customer service. The lady pouring the wine was extremely friendly and we discussed our plans for the following day and... More

My wife and I found this place one day by accident. It is the southern most winery in the US. We came in and tried the wine tasting and tried eight different varietals. It goes from dryest to sweetest. We ended up shipping two bottles of Pinot Noir to our home in New Jersey. The people there are very friendly... More

I finely stopped here and I was disappointed. I'm not sure what I expected, but it was a let down for me. This is not a real winery (and I knew that, but I still expected a better quality of wine); it is a quaint little unique tourist destination. I did not care for any of the wines, they are... More

Cute little place, with a nice selection of souvenirs. The tastings were generous. The staff was attentive, friendly and informative ~ so much so that I bought 2 bottles of wine. It was a nice way to spend an hour before continuing on to the Volcano.

Found out this winery existed on our big Island drive, and knew we had to come here to cap the night off before going to our bed and breakfast! We ordered the multiple kind of cheese plate and it was way more than enough food for 2 people, and opted to do the tasting with the extra infused tea wine.... More

Sorry, but I am from wine country in Colorado and when they told me they would charge me $5 to taste a wine, I was appalled. I have never heard of such a thing and was truly offended. this was so Bizarre I couldn't bring myself to actually purchase anything. And I agree with some of the other "customers". The... More

Thank you for the feedback. Since we have had several comments about the charge for tastings, let me address that first. For our first 20 years we never charged for tastings but quite honestly, tour groups were advertising "free wine tasting" as a highlight of their tours but seldom gave the group enough time to enjoy the experience or to... If you like wine, this is something you should do if you are going to the park, as it is close by. For $8 you get to try 8 different wines ($5 for 7 but you miss one of the interestiung ones). The staff was very friendly and knowledgable.

This was an enjoyable, relaxed wine tasting experience. The lady who was pouring was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. She did a great job of explaining how the various wines were made. It was $5 for the "Standard" wine tasting and $3 for the "premium" tasting which includes the infused tea. But they are really flexible and let... More
