Some of the wine tastings I have done in the past have been very rushed, but that is most definitely not the case here! First of all the wines are delicious - the flavors from the fruity ingredients are so refreshing and make for very unique wines. I know nothing about wine, but I really enjoy when the person leading... More

Here is a chance for visitors to sample wines produced by a Volcano vintner. Besides grape wines, you can have a chance to try different combinations using local fruit like jaboticaba. The staff is very friendly and very willing to give you information on the wines and some pairing ideas. Our favorite wine is the Volcano Red. After your wine... More

This pleasant little wine shop could be located in California wine country until you look closely at the labels and see Macadamia Nut Honey wine, Infusion Tea wine and Hawaiian Guava Wine. Taste a variety, including 100% grape wines, like the Cayuga White, which is clean and crisp, the semi-sweet Symphony Mele and a medium body Pinot Noir. The popular... More

It's an adorable little place near the VNP. The walls are lined with colorful photos of lava flows and blue and green wine glasses. As we tried 7 wines, we ate crackers with sundries tomato, basil cheese. We engaged in a conversation with the owner; she was from Jersey and her winery had earned many Fingerlake awards! Small world! Nice... More

We stopped by this winery to fill time after biking in the Volcano National Park (waiting for dark to see the lava). What an enjoyable side trip! Got to taste seven of their wines - liked most of them! The Volcano Red was especially good.

We stopped in today on our way to see the Volcano. And we were so glad we did ! We were greeted by a very social, attentive and knowledgable young lady who explained everything about their winery. How long they have been there, what types of grapes they use how to pare the different wines, what types of grapes etc.... More

I was amazed at the different fruits they make wine out of at this place. Some were a little too winey for me but others were very nice. It took us a while to find it, we had to ask someone directions, but not that hard once you got started in the right direction. They will box stuff up and... More

Very nice little winery, everyone there was super and fun to be around. The facility and grounds were well maintained and a good stop on the way to Volcano National Park. We stopped in and tried the wine and cheese samplers, while I cannot say we enjoyed all the wine, a couple of them were very good (but like many... More
