While in the Volcanoes area, and if you like wine, you gotta stop here... Very pleasant staff, good tastings, and a nice gift shop also. Brought some wine back from here!

The wine tasting -- eight wines for $8 -- is really a bargain to sample the unique offerings of this out-of-the-way place. It's so easy to spend a couple of hours here. Consider ordering a cheese platter too, since all of the great wine may leave you with a slight buzz. We love the macadamia nut honey wine; the Hawaiian... More

We went here on our way to the Volcanos National Park... If you're a wine lover as we are... This is a must do without exception. We had the premium tasting with the combo cheese platter... Amazing. We took advantage of the discounted shipping and sent wine home. You will love this winery.. A class act!

My wife and I were staying at the Volcano Garden Arts cottage and decided to try the winery. It was a quiet weekday so we got the royal treatment. You must try the full sampler of all the choices the winery has to offer. You also must try the handmade cheese, fruit and cracker plate. One of the staff actually... More

Location is the best thing about it. They have wine tasting for your pleasure. Most of the wines are on the sweet side. I could not take a second sip of the Pinot Noir as it did not agree with my palate at all. But to each his own. Nice break from the travels of the day.

My husband and I have been to several wine tasting events before. But this one was different. It was one on one with the girls who served the wine. We got to taste probably 8 different kinds of wine and learned a lot about it. We also had a wonderful conversation and were told about a few local places we... More

Incredibly friendly staff and great wine and tea produced at the Estate. The owner took us on a tour of the winery and showed and explained the different grapes and teas that are grown here in the rich volcanic soil.

Spent about 3 hours in the tasting room on a recent trip to the Big Island and had a fabulous time. We did the 8-wine tasting and ordered some delicious cheese and crackers to go with it--Nancy (a.k.a. Nansea) took great care of us! I ended up spending the bulk of my souvenir budget on wines to bring home :)... More

If you like a different type of wine check this place out. Tea infused wine. Really tasty. A stone's throw from the volcano and worth the side trip.

... you really should stop in at this unusual winery. It's only a mile or two from the N.P. entrance back towards Kailua-Kona. They have a very friendly staff, and the tasting is reasonable, especially if two of you share. (which they allow) You can try a half-dozen very interesting -- and mostly unconventional -- wines for $5. I thought... More
