Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around.Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7:00am-4:30pm, Wed 7:00am - 2:00pm and Sat from 7:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sunday. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

Saturday was a great day to stop by at Hilo Coffee Mill because there was a mini open market with locally made crafts like cute towels, beeswax lip balm, jewelry, home-grown vegetables, plants and freshly made bread and pastries. Live music played as the free-range chickens darted about. There was a vendor with an amazing array of vegetable and flower... More

Love this place!! The tour was very well done, the staff were wonderful and their coffee and food were very tasty, especially the wraps. We left with a basketful of goodies and great memories. Don't miss this if you like coffee. Better than wine tours for us!!!

We were on our way to our vacation rental and stopped here to get some fresh coffee for our stay. We got great coffee and so much more. The wasabi macadamia nuts were amazing so we bought a bag (great with some local beer!) then we sampled other goodies, tried all the coffees and finished up with a coffee milkshake.... More

The owners are warm and friendly. The tour was interesting and the information very helpful. I love ice cream as well as coffee so maybe you can guess that the coffee shake was the best I ever had, amen.

This was one of many stops that we made on this day and it was one of the better stops! I had a box of goodies waiting for me when I returned from our trip yesterday. As promised, it beat me home! You start out meeting one of the owners who gives you a full detailed presentation of how the... More

Called into Hilo Coffee Mill whilst on a custom tour with Kamaaina Tours and met the lovely ladies that run the coffee mill. They explained the coffee process and gave us 3 samples to try. We then were given other taste tests including the chocolate coated Macadamia nuts and the Wasabi Macs ( YOU HAVE TO TRY THESE!!!!). You will... More

The greatest feeling one can get is praise for giving gifts to family and friends. Such was the case here. I have still some of the Xmas sampler ( a great idea ) and also Hawaiian-Oolong tea. A must place to visit.

The tour is quick and informative. They have coffee trees in front of the building and we tried the sweet fruit surrounding the coffee bean - very interesting! They have different kinds of coffee ready either brewed, whole beans or chocolate-covered. Remember - those are not chocolate M&Ms but coffee beans in chocolate!

We did the tour with Jeanette and learned some great Hawaiian coffee information and tasted some fine coffee. Too bad they were out of their own beans but had some from neighboring areas and islands.
