Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around.Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7:00am-4:30pm, Wed 7:00am - 2:00pm and Sat from 7:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sunday. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

I enjoyed the beautiful chickens that came up to greet me before going in to the coffee shope. There were also huge gardenia bushes outside....I took one home with me. I really found Hilo Coffee Mill to be a pleasant experience. I drink light roast but not much of that of the Island. It seams the folks there prefer dark... More

Took the tour- the staff was very informative on the different types and stages of production. Let us sample coffees and some of the gift store favorites. Beautiful location just to set and enjoy a great cup of island grown coffee. The staff made this stop very special.

I have a greater appreciation for Coffee! Seeing the process from start to finish is amazing! We had a guided tour and they started us from the bean on the tree to the finish prodcut. It really is a must experience.

One of the highlights of our day on the east side of the Big Island was at the Hilo Coffee Mill. Not only was the food fabulous but the milk shakes were to die for. The coffee tour was so interesting and well displayed, even if you don't drink coffee.Outside there was such an array of flora and fauna. I... More

We went here as part of a guided tour of Hilo but I found myself being very impressed with the depth of knowledge and commitment to quality at the Mill. I didn't realise that so much work went into making a simple cup of coffee - something I will never take for granted again. Plus the free wifi was an... More

My wife and I booked the tour with lunch to learn more about the growing and processing of coffee, and it was well worth the time and money. The staff in general are very friendly and Jeanette was awesome. She took her time with us and really went over things, answering questions and sharing knowledge. We really enjoyed it and... More
