Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around.Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7:00am-4:30pm, Wed 7:00am - 2:00pm and Sat from 7:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sunday. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

This is a great place to stop between Volcano and Hilo. Stop in for friendly local people, greta ice cream and , if you're lucky, some home made pastries.

My husband and I booked a full tour in advance, and I am so glad that we did. Juanette, an owner, explained the entire coffee production process, showed us around the entire grounds and facility, and answered all of our coffee questions (and there were many; thank you, Juanette!). She also told us about the fruit and cacao trees on... More

This place is a true local gem. We had the privilege of visiting while in Hilo on a cruise. We were given a tour by one of the ladies who owns the mill and it was so informative and interesting. We sampled some delicious coffees and ate at their little cafe. It was a wonderful stop that we would have... More

We booked a tour of this coffee property enroute to the volcano. I must say that I am so happy that we stopped here. Sometimes vacations are about an unanticipated great experience. The owner of the property (Jeanette) lead this tour and I learned so much! First of all, I fancied myself as having a bit of knowledge about good... More

The cafe is cute, the smoothies are fantastic, and the service extremely sweet and friendly, but the disc golf course here needs some tender love and care and course maintenance. It seemed as though there was just a tournament there or something when we went there to play, because the course set up did not match the map they gave... More

This is a terrific coffee farm. It is very small in comparison to some of the other coffee farms we have been to but they take the time to walk you through the whole process from start to finish. The end result being a VERY smooth tasting coffee with no bitter taste after. LOVE this coffee!

I loved this place. It is cute, friendly and a happy environment and Juanita was the sweeties local that was showing us around the mill and was telling us cool little secrets about coffee and so many cool things to do around the island! Yet, they gave us coffee samples and they were delicious. They went down smooth and it... More

Saturday was a great day to stop by at Hilo Coffee Mill because there was a mini open market with locally made crafts like cute towels, beeswax lip balm, jewelry, home-grown vegetables, plants and freshly made bread and pastries. Live music played as the free-range chickens darted about. There was a vendor with an amazing array of vegetable and flower... More
