Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around.Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7:00am-4:30pm, Wed 7:00am - 2:00pm and Sat from 7:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sunday. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

We had been at Volcano National park and were really wanting/needed some coffee. My husband remembered passing Hilo Coffee Mill on the way to the park so we were planning to stop in and refresh ourselves with some local coffee. While ordering our drinks a woman asked us if we would like a free tour, she said it would only... More

Aloha Shawn, I sincerely apologize for your disappointing experience at our Mill. We hope you'll be open to allowing us an opportunity to make it right. I'm sure the Staff member who helped you was wanting to make you got the proper grind for your coffee maker. However, we are happy to send you the same coffee you purchased and... More

Even though I don't drink coffee, my wife loves her coffee. We stopped in to see their operation. We were immediately received by a friendly and inviting reception. We were given a talk on their coffee process which even I found interesting. Afterward, we were offered tasting of coffees and other products. There was no pressure to buy.

For me this was a one stop shop! Not only do they sell AMAZING coffee but they have a wide range of other locally made products to purchase for yourself or as gifts to bring home. I bought wonderful handmade soaps beautifully scented with exfoliating coffee grounds wrapped in wonderful fabric. The sweetest young lady let us taste and sample... More

A brief explanation of the coffee making process is available to visitors. There is also an opportunity for coffee tasting. There are other local products available for purchase. A nice roadside stop!

Seeing a coffee plantation up close was wonderful. The property and the information given was a great high lite. Learning the different kinds of coffee and the different grinds, put a whole different face on have a GREAT cup of coffee. I learned that the longer and darker your roast coffee the less you will taste the coffee. that means... More

The free 10 minute tour was worth it. You learn everything about coffee you need to know. The tour guide was amazing. There are coffee plants that surround the parking lot. No need to take the long tour. Too much to do on the island.

Mahalo for taking the time to give feedback and share your experience on your visit. We really appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed your time with us. As a farm, we also grow more than coffee. Tea, white pineapple and bananas are just a few of the other food items we grow. A tour of the farm also gives... More

We planned to have lunch here and it was very good- homemade soups and wraps. Not expensive, and the service was excellent. The tour is super short but the coffee drinks were delicious. There was live music outside.

Aloha! Mahalo for taking the time to share your visit experience. We are glad that you were able to see our farmers market, which showcases local musicians and agriculturally centered vendors. Our complimentary presentation in our roasting facility is designed to give our guests a short, but information packed view of how we process coffee, using responsible, sustainable and renewable... There are not many places to eat around the Volcanoes National Park, so I didn't really expect to find such a pleasant place. I had a great tasting latte and shared a yummy muffin (poppy seed and almond). Lunches at the next table looked very good.

This is a great place to stop between Volcano and Hilo. Stop in for friendly local people, greta ice cream and , if you're lucky, some home made pastries.
