Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around.Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7:00am-4:30pm, Wed 7:00am - 2:00pm and Sat from 7:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sunday. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. We'd love to meet you! « less

A good place to stop for interesting conversation, a peak into the coffee making process, and a little shopping! A cup of coffee, chocolate covered coffee beans, conversation about the area and its history.

We had such a wonderful coffee experience! Thanks Juanette for all the information and time you spent with us. We are hooked on Hilo coffee because it is the best coffee without the bitterness! We will be ordering soon with hopes to begin a coffee shop here in midwest USA, so others can enjoy this coffee as much as we... More

Fun place to experience a nice cup of coffee and to see the process of roasting! Loved the idea of having coffee then seeing the volcano in action!

There are signs when you get to it along the highway between Hilo and Volcano or Volcanos National Park. I am not a coffee drinker but enjoyed the stop anyway. Very nice , helpful and welcoming staff. Coffee tasted good as I tries it, but I am no coffee coniseur. Had a half of my wife's chicken wrap. It was... More

Another must see on the Big Island. I don't drink coffee, but enjoyed learning about all things coffee! Acidity, how roasting affects flavor, the roasting process, how long you can keep coffee to get the best flavor, and many other facts were explained by one of the founders of the mill. Everyone was very friendly and wanted you to get... More

This a a little known gem that deserves more visitors. Their farm tour was wonderful and the owner Jeannette was super friendly and helpful. We had lunch here and their wraps are among the best wraps we have tasted. Yes, their chocolate macadamia nut truffles are really good. They have lots of free ranging chicken on their property -- you... More

The coffee, food, atmosphere are excellent. We were house hunting when we stumbled upon the Mill, looking for a good cup of java. We were not disappointed, returned several times, and with each time we received excellent coffee and friendly service that was truly sincere. In fact it gave us a preview of the neighborhood we eventually bought our new... More

After trying their good coffee and delicious treats (would highly recommend the toffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts), my wife asked if we could just see the building the next door where the coffee beans are roasted. The owner took us next door and then told us all about how their coffee is made. She even gave us very good... More

I wanted to see and learn about coffee, see what it looks like growing, and learn how it is processed. Our guide, Josh Grotkin, took us to Hilo Coffee Mill. Everyone was warm and friendly. The business is owned by women. A young woman gave us a tour and showed us where the coffee is processed. Then we had an... More
