Kayaked with the spinner dolphins, a mother and calf humpback whale, and snorkeled the beautiful waters of Keylakekua Bay. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and marine life. He was helpful and accommodating to the entire group (shout out to AJ!) as he lead us through the morning activities. Lunch included (chocolate macadamia nut cookies!) and a short tour... More

We rented a two person kayak + gear for 24 hours. We kayaked out to the night manta ray site in front the Sheraton. A lot less expensive and less crowded to do it with a Kona Boys kayak vs a cattle boat. The next day we took the kayak out to the Capt Cook monument to snorkel and look... More

Booked these guys on the phone. We started by kayaking to captain cook. It took awhile especially since I as never kayaked in my life. But we got there after 40 min or so. The guide justice(alihee) showed us how to snorkel and was clear and courteous while doing it. We spent about 1 hour or so in the water.... More

Our guide Ben was so laid back and easygoing!!! There was a tiny mixup with our gear. We got there early and one of the other guides thought our snorkeling gear was from the early morning tour. So she took it with her. But Ben had some masks and snorkels in his truck and borrowed some fins from one of... More

We are a family with 2 kids aged 9 and 7. It was our first visit to Kealakekua bay. The last time my husband and I kayaked was 20 yrs ago. We got fitted with snorkel, mask and fins at the shop before heading down to water. Just as well they had the sizes for my son who is 7.... More

Our family of 5 had an awesome morning kayak and snorkel experience with Ben (Right on!). Great discussion of history in the area along with laid back trip across the bay. Kayaking conditions were great and snorkeling was amazing. Recommend an early morning trip to the peaceful bay and beat the other tourists in boats to the site.

One of the most gorgeous snorkeling spots we've seen. Danielle and Jared were the most fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful tour guides we have ever had! We learned a ton about Hawaii history and the types of fish we saw thanks to them. We took our toddler with us and they helped us with getting her in and out of... More

This was our 3rd trip to Kealakekua Bay. This time we went on a guided kayak trip with Kona Boys. AJ was our expert guide. He made sure everything was taken care of and provided lots of interesting history and facts about the area. The snorkeling is without parallel - a must see for anyone who enjoys beautiful fish and... More

The Kona Boys peeps could not be more helpful or friendlier. I was looking for a place to gear up to SUP (stand up paddle) and snorkel Kealakekua Bay and they hooked me right up. Full service: boards, paddles snorkel gear, roof rack...even loaded the boards on for me. (Note: they also rent kayaks). Gave very clear and concise directions... More

My wife and I booked the Kayak/Snorkeling package and it was amazing. We knew the Kayaking would be light, and it was, which was relaxing, but the snorkeling was amazing! The Kona boys know their stuff! They get you to best spot before the crowd gets there, and you will probably see some dolphins on the way ( some swam... More
