We arrived late in the evening so tried to get on the Morning Kayak tour to Captain Cook’s monument the following morning, sadly to no avail due to the pre-ordered catering. However, the team were super friendly booking us in to do the tour the following morning and setting us up with snorkelling gear that we could take with us... More

Completed a kayak/snorkel trip with Kona Boys Inc. this afternoon and highly recommend this trip. Our guides were Ben and Rabbit and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We did a lot of research (looked at Tripadvisor!!) before choosing Kona Boys Inc and very pleased with results! Yummy banana bread, fresh fruit (pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew), and plenty... More

Wife and I paddled a double kayak with our guide to the Captain Cook monument on the other side of the bay. Went past cliffs with history of the past Hawaian culture. Saw a dolphin in the bay. Our Guide Kai was very good with helping my wife get in the kayak and knew the area well. Kai showed us... More

I had a great time kayaking across Kealakekue Bay. AJ was the guide and he was excellent at explaining the historical and environmental significance of the area. We saw dolfins! Snorkeling was great. The best spot I have ever snorkeled. Lunch exceeded my expectations as it was locally sourced and healthy. Kona Boys is the company to use--don't get on... More

We just had a katak tour of the Cook Monument and our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, laid back, prepared, and great to spend the day with. They provided lots of good information and showed a great sense of conservation and environmental protection. It was one of the best tours of our holiday.

The check-in at the Kona Boys office was very friendly and helpful. Individual needs were respected and fully taken into account. While we were paddling to Captain Cook's Monument Ben shared his knowledge about Hawaiian history with us and gave us a lot of information about geological facts as well. I especially appreciated his respectful relationship with the dolphins, because... More

Kona Boys was a very good choice to kayak over to the Captain Cook monument. The dive shop is scrubbed clean, the staff totally attentive, and the equipment we got as part of the price was in excellent condition. The trip is not exactly a bargain, but if you can afford it, consider yourself lucky to get a chance to... More

We had never been to Hawaii and Lauren & Jessa were great help! Lauren not only rented us our chairs and got us set up, but greeted us each day with a smile and a welcome. She answered questions about the area, provided helpful information and helped us identify fish we saw while snorkeling. We didn't go to any other... More

My husband and I signed up to do kayak & snorkeling with Kona Boys on our recent trip to the Big Island. Everyone at the shop who oriented us and helped fit the snorkel gear were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived at the dock where we would begin our snorkeling, we met our guides, AJ and Ben. They... More
