Friendly and informative staff. Cheap day rentals $8 for snorkel gear. Would use again and I recommend. This place is on the way to Captain Cook Monument which is rated the best place to snorkel and swim with dolphins.

These guys obviously love what they do. They were so friendly and helpful. We were unsure about kayaking out to Cook's Monument but after they explained the process of getting out there, unloading and where to kayak to, we felt a lot more confident. They also gave us a history lesson and seem very eco friendly when it comes to...

The snorkel tour was outstanding and tailored to our interests. Dolphins, beautiful fish and incredible coral formationswere just a part of the experience. Snorkeling included the entire bay, not just a few feet from a large crowded boat. Jared, our guide was very personable, took care of everything and ensured that the trip was memorable. He provided interesting facts about...

We took the Kona Boys Sea Kayaking/Snorkeling Captain Cook's Monument tour and it was an amazing day!
First off, unless you want to pay a cabbie ~$100 to get there and back, make sure you have a rental car before you book the trip! The shop is a few miles outside of Kona and you'll be better off with your...

Wanted to rent a Kayak to go out to Capt. Cook monument. Used their website to request a landing permit from the state and made a Kayak reservation.
The package included cooler, dry bag, mounts for car, life vest, etc. They gave me an instructive talk about the launching process in the bay and what to do and not do....

I'm a big dude at 6-2 & 275# and Rufus gave me the TLC treatment. They local brahs were very cool, helpful,...

Kayaked across kealakekua bay to captain cook monument, great snorkelling there, had lunch and a little tour. Our guide ,David, was great. The guided tour is a litle expensive, but worth the money, especially if it is first time across the bay. All our kids ( 17/14/10) say it was their highlight of our recent trip to Hawaii.

We rented standup paddle boards in Kailua-Kona. Although we didn't take a lesson, they gave some basic instructions to get us started and were really helpful. They gave my tall son a very expensive paddle as the usual rentals were too short for him. Full range of equipment and services available at multiple spots on the island. Highly recommended!
