Excellent help renting a kayak for two for the day. 79.00 for the whole day and a dry stuff bag. We came back in for lunch and they watched all our gear. We headed back out for several more hours. After that we snorkeled in the bay and saw a good variety of fish. A rare sighting of a monk... More

went on the snorkel kayak trip with AJ and a helper. The helper- she was new and just ok-- but Aj was awesome. Saw dolphins and even got to swim with them - the bay is great for snorkeling . This is a great way to go snorkeling -- more adventerous than the usual boat and a fun work out.... More

$29 a day for 2/chairs and a nice umbrella. Good deal for HI. Employees were very nice and helpful. If Ur on Pride of America NCL cruise the tenders drop u off right on the beach. Walk off 50 yards turn left and the beach is right there . and on the beach the only rental I see is KONA... More

based on the recommendation of our host Robin at the Kealakekua B&B, we contacted Kona Boys and arranged for a snorkel /kayak trip on the Bay to the Capt. Cook Monument. We lucked out on several fronts. We got A.J. as our guide. He was Spot-On. My wife and I were the only ones on the trip with A.J. Sweet!... More

We had a fun 3 hour tour with our guide, Lauren, and 2 other couples. My husband and I had no experience with either kayaking or snorkeling, but this was not a problem. Our guide was very patient and informative.

The Morning Magic trip is fantastic. Kona Boys gets you out to Kealakekua Bay nice and early before the crowds, which is the single best thing about a great overall experience. The kayak/snorkel trip, with Ben as our guide, was a wonderful combination - a touch of Hawaiian history, plenty of sun and swimming, and a good time in general.... More

AJ was great. A picture perfect day with my family on the mid day paddle and snorkel. Great history in the area and AJ was very informative . We will definitely be back. Another bonus is the sunblock we bought from Kona Boys. Its been two and a half weeks and the first application is still good. Thanks again. The Elliotts

My husband and I and our 13-year-old took a kayaking trip across the Big Island’s Keakekula Bay with the Kona Boys and it was wonderful. Our laidback guide, Ben, was a really wonderful story teller, weaving Hawaiian history--both cultural and geological--in a seamless and engaging way. And punctuating his narration, a pod of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, arcing around our kayaks... More

My husband and I took the morning magic tour with lauren as our guide. The kayak across the bay was peaceful but unfortunately did not see any dolphins or whales. The snorkeling at captain cook was great--very clear water and large variety of fish and corals. Getting into and out of the kayak is not for the faint of heart---takes... More

Signed up for a snorkel trip that seemed kind of pricey at first. Saw whales on the kayak out. Great snorkeling lead by helpful, chill guides AJ and Ali'i. Lovely relaxed lunch at the Captain Cook monument with a short history on the Aussie. Kayak back where we were joined by juvenile spinner Dolphins. Could not have been a better... More
