I didn't bring my boards with me on a family vacation to Kona and a good sized swell hit. Kona Boys had a selection of short boards to choose from at reasonable prices. I rented a newer 5'10" Rusty Dozer and they threw in a leash and a bar of wax for $77 for three days. John was super cool... More

Our guides were AJ and Danielle- they were fantastic. We had a big group, but it didn't feel that way at all. AJ gave us some history of everything we were seeing and Danielle told us some facts about the Dolphins we were seeing. The snorkeling was AMAZING! The sandwiches and banana bread were awesome too. I highly recommend this... More

Did the morning kayak snorkeling tour. These guys are amazing! Had a short but good safety briefing and off we went to the water. Nice paddling, saw Spinner-Dolphins on our way across the bay. Ben our guide gave us some nice information about the history of this area and the bay. The snorkeling in the bay was a blast! Never... More

During our first trip to the big Island, my wife and I hiked the trail to Captain Cook Monument one morning a couple of weeks ago with the hope of snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. The night before I noticed on my weather app the Kona side of the island was going to be under a high surf advisory so we... More

We went on the morning kayak tour with Kona Boys and I have to say it was hands down the best tour we went on on our whole trip to Hawaii. So good that I am writing this review! We had AJ and Danielle and they were one of the main reasons the tour was so good, they are friendly,... More

Awesome excursion! Well worth the cost for a fun day of kayaking among dolphins, snorkeling, and getting a history lesson too. We loved it! A.J. and Danielle were very friendly and helpful.

We rented kayaks and the staff was great when we rented them. But when we returned them, the they were very rude and surly. Will never rent from them again!

One of 3 companies allowed to kayak to this remote national park. The staff (Loren and Danielle ) were knowledgable, friendly, safe, helpful and genuinely loved their job. We watched pods of dolphins play on our kayak over to the Captain Cook monument, learned the history of Captain Cook and the bay, viewed an under water aquarium of spectacular coral... More

We were going to Captain Cook and wanted to pick up some Kayaks. I read other reviews here, and like they all said, the guys and gals here were top notch. We needed four kayaks, and they made it a breeze. Got everything we needed, including some soft side coolers for some ice cold beverages, and then loaded it all... More
