My husband and I enjoyed the 1/2 day excursion with Kona Boys immensely! We both have limited kayaking experience and found our guide Ben to be very patient and helpful getting us out on the ocean. Our paddle over to the monument was very educational and we enjoyed learning all about the cultural and history of the area and the... More

For our last day on the Big Island we kayaked & snorkeled this morning with Kona Boys in Kealakekua Bay. The tour is called, "Morning Magic". Kayaked across the bay to the Captain Cook monument. Ben was our guide. It was an awesome adventure. We saw several dolphins & whales on our way out to Captain Cook. Snorkeled at Captain... More

We had pretty limited dealings with the Kona Boys, but I liked them enough that they deserve a shout-out. The only actual business we did with them was to rent snorkel gear, and I was pleased that the price was quite reasonably given the extremely touristy setting (at the beach in front of a pricey hotel), and the equipment was... Took the Captain Cook Monument tour, our guides were fantastic, explaining the natural and historical significance of the area, great lunch and best snorkeling on gorgeous, healthy reefs! Such a great time! Thanks guys!

Our family of 5 did the half day kayak trip to Captain Cook monument over the holidays. The friendly and knowledgeable staff set us up with good quality gear; Lauren was a great guide. We had good water visibility at the monument (and got there before some of the larger party boats). A pod of dolphins accompanied us on the... More

My wife and I traveled to the Big Island this January for a long overdue honeymoon. I had heard that snorkeling around the Captain Cook monument was a absolute must do. We also talked about renting a kayak. She did some checking and found the Kona Boys kayak and snorkel tour across Kealakekua Bay to the Captain Cook Monument. The... More

Beautiful blue water colors on ride to bay. Saw Dolphins, Manta Ray, and sea turtles. Snorkeling was in gorgeous movie-like water andLauren & A.J were the best... More

Stayed at the King Kamehameha Courtyard Marriott in Kona. Kona Boys had a shack on the beach. Wyatt and Ben were very friendly and helpful. Ben took us on an amazing Kayak and Snorkeling tour. We saw whales up close, (it was in season). The snorkeling was incredible, we saw numerous species of fish and many types of coral. It... More

This was a great trip. We took the morning trip and got to the monument and started snorkeling before the big Kona snorkel boats arrive. It made for a great time. Our guides were really good and gave us a good orientation to the site and where to snorkel. The water was beautiful and clear. There were lots of cool... More
