Ola our guide was very informative and an awesome guide. It was a great way to get on the water and snorkel. I highly recommend them.

I was originally concerned about the hassle of hauling the kayaks on our car all the way from the highway to the launch (and back) but they did everything for us on both ends. Very easy. They explained everything in great detail about how to get there, the best snorkeling spot and the best way to see the dolphins if... More

We rented a kayak and snorkeling gears from this company for our trip to Kealakekua Bay. While they did give us good directions to the dock, and we enjoyed our time at the bay, we would NOT return to this company for any future rentals. One of the snorkeling masks rented to us was way too big and water kept... More

Bari's passion for water/outdoor activities as well as sharing his knowledge about Hawaiian history and culture is evident and infectious. My husband and I have been snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay many times but the experience has never been more enjoyable than on our kayaking trip with Hawaii Pack and Paddle. Bari gets in the water with you and points out... More

My husband, 18 year old son & myself took the King's Tour. So much fun, so many facts and so many beautiful sights! They are professional, know their stuff and have awesome snacks! This is a must do on the Big Island! We look forward to using them for other adventures on our return!

This is an absolute must-do on the Big Island!! Bari took us over to Cook monument. It's hard to describe how awesome the snorkeling is there. It's the best in the Hawaiian islands and the best I had ever seen. Bari adds to the experience by describing things, pointing out things that might be overlooked and giving the history of... More

I came with my family on my first trip to Hawaii. We wanted to experience some of the great snorkeling of the big island from a kayak but didn't feel comfortable doing it alone. Bari made us feel very comfortable as we kayaked across the beautiful bay and spent hours snorkeling. The fish were beatiful and having Bari point out... More

We very much enjoyed our trips with Hawaii Pack and Paddle. Our first trip was the Queens Snorkeling Tour. Bari taught us about the reef life before we went so we would know what we were looking at when snorkeling. Once we paddled into the bay and started snorkeling, Bari led us the entire time, showing us different fish and... More

Seeing all the positive reviews on how patient and helpful Bari is - there's no need for me to elaborate further on that! My husband and I were unsure whether it would be worth the effort to rent a kayak and snorkel to Kealakekua Bay initially (since there are plenty of other snorkelling beaches on the island) - we are... Took the stand-up paddle board tour to Kealakekua Bay. We have taken a number of guided trips over the years and it ranks among the very best. Bari was extremely knowledgeable and very patient. We learned more about the reef in half a day paddling with him, than in all the trips we've taken over the last six years. Highly... More
