I drink my coffee black. I find most coffee and roasts are too bitter to enjoy this way. When my wife and I discovered Kona Joe's several years ago, my first reaction was "this is the smoothest coffee I've ever had". Even a cold cup of coffee tastes smooth and well-rounded. Recently, I got some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. As... More

We have been visiting the Big Island of Hawaii for 15 years. With this we had been driving by the Kona Joe driveway for many of those. About 8 years ago on one of our drives I said to my husband, let’s just pull off and try this place. Well talk about better late than never!! We have been having... More

We took the Kona/Mocha tour off NCL's The Pride of America. Judy @ Kona Joe's gave us a great tour along with a great cup of coffee!

Toured Kona Joe's with Junior on the last day of our anniversary trip. We also had a wonderful breakfast at the small outdoor cafe while enjoying a beautiful view of the coffee "vinyard" with the ocean in the background. The entire experience felt like my wife and I were the only people at Kona Joe's on a Monday morning! Everyone... More

Took the tour today at Kona Joe's and Junior was our wonderful guide. I love coffee and now I really love Kona Joe's. Such a beautiful location and the trellis grown coffee makes for interesting coffee conversation. Junior took his time and walked us through the process so that we would understand the uniqueness of their coffee. The tasting's and... More

Visited the farm today. Loved it!!!! Beautiful informative tour. Loved our guide Rafael from Brazil. Worth the $15 per person fee. This is what Hawaii is all about. Staff was courteous, professional and very helpful. What a beautiful few hours we spent there today. Quiet and peaceful. Didn't eat breakfast but looking forward to the wonderful food we saw being... Long time fans of Kona Joe's coffee, we were pleasantly surprised to find new food options in addition to our favorite dark roast. We started with a piece of macadamia coffee cake then shared a spinach/mushroom omelet. Both were very good although the sauteed potatoes could have been crispier to improve the flavor. Now we have more reasons to stop... More

There are a few signs next to the road telling you when to turn to find Kona Joe Coffee. You can look at the big coffee plantation and taste some of their coffee at the little store which also sells souvenirs. Be aware though, it's a bit pricy.
