Kona Joe Coffee has beautiful facilities and a friendly staff. I spent close to $50 on coffee and t-shirts but they charged .20¢ for each paper bag they used. They did not even bother to mention there was a paper bag charge! For the prices they charge they tack on a bag fee?

Went in early April 2015. After a long and very boring talk, we were given an "okay" cup of coffee. Told that the quality stuff was in limited supply but we could pre-order it. Was told I could buy a cup of it but no one there at counter to sell it. Got a free mug (whoopee) but was very... More

This tour was very informative on their style of coffee. We started the tour with a sample of their coffee. The tour was walking friendly from looking at the plants to the sorting room, roasting room and the gift shop. Guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I wish we hade been there sooner to take advantage of the food. Besides... More

Tour by Bruno was informative and fun. He is very knowledgable and enjoyed testing us on our coffee knowledge. Their trellis grown estate Kona is amazing. Views from the plant were lovely. Handicap accessible. Both fee based and free tours available

We went on the tour as a shore excursion from our ship POA. The tour was interesting and well run. The view was a 15 million dollar view from the Lanai and the gift shop had coffee! What could be better for a coffee lover?

Best coffee in the world! Loved the shop where all the options were available for purchase. We tried the trellis-grown variety and were blown away by the coffee flavor and complete absence of bitterness. Worth every penny.

I was there with family as a day excursion from our cruise ship. Our tour was awesome. Our guide examined the entire process from start to finish. He explained what makes Kona Joe beans different from other Kona coffee. The coffee is a bit on the high side but after tasting a cup of their blended coffee (beans from them... More

This was the first of 3 plantations we visited in the Kona coffee belt, and we found it the best. Although the tour was $15, we got a coffee mug and a coffee for after the tour. We were in a very small group, and we learned a lot. The views were terrific here as well.

After we arrived, we decided to drive around and came upon Kona Joe's. What a delight!! Our tour guide from Brazil was very informative and gave us an excellent tour on how to grow, harvest, roast and serve coffee. We came back later in the week and enjoyed a scrumptious lunch in a beautiful setting We now drink from our... More

They do charge for the tour. We just opted to 'sample' the coffee as we could go elsewhere for a free tour. Staff, setup not very friendly. Coffee sample lukewarm, tasted like it had been sitting in the pot for a long time. Had to bring our cups to the "Snack Bar" across the way if we wanted to put... More
