Visited the farm today. Loved it!!!! Beautiful informative tour. Loved our guide Rafael from Brazil. Worth the $15 per person fee. This is what Hawaii is all about. Staff was courteous, professional and very helpful. What a beautiful few hours we spent there today. Quiet and peaceful. Didn't eat breakfast but looking forward to the wonderful food we saw being... Long time fans of Kona Joe's coffee, we were pleasantly surprised to find new food options in addition to our favorite dark roast. We started with a piece of macadamia coffee cake then shared a spinach/mushroom omelet. Both were very good although the sauteed potatoes could have been crispier to improve the flavor. Now we have more reasons to stop... More

There are a few signs next to the road telling you when to turn to find Kona Joe Coffee. You can look at the big coffee plantation and taste some of their coffee at the little store which also sells souvenirs. Be aware though, it's a bit pricy.

We were staying in Kona and decided to tour some of the local coffee farms. We stopped in at Kona Joe coffee farm on a rainy afternoon in August. We got a personal minitour and tried the Peaberry and Trellis Reserve coffees at their café. Some of the BEST coffee I have ever tasted. They serve a wonderful breakfast and... More

Short drive south of Kona. The tour costs $15 but you get a free mug and a cup of 100 percent Kona coffee. Also check out the restaurant on property. They are open for breakfast and lunch everyday except Wednesday. It is called Seascape. The food is great. Also make sure to get one of their macadamia nut tarts for... More

The views at this coffee plantation are stunning and the welcome was gracious and upbeat! While we did not take the tour, we enjoyed walking around, tasting some different coffees, and chatting up Princess Julie (in the gift shop). This was a just happen to be passing by kind of stop and we were blown away. Will be back!! July... More

We took the 15$ guided tour. I would really recommend everybody to do this. It was very informative, and you could really feel how much this guy loves what he does. You get a large coffee mug, and large cup of coffee as well. All of us bought coffee to bring back home. This really is worth a visit. We'll... More

Being almost 40 and a world traveler, I thought I knew something about coffee. I have been missing out. Raphael provided an incredible tour on the farm, explaining in great detail how coffee is grown, processed and best of all enjoyed. I learned more about coffee in this tour than in some of my travels. Great few hours enjoying some... More

After we showed up for the tour we were sent to the cafe to wait for our guide; everyone was very apologetic for the wait, which honestly was not a big deal. Tour was very interesting, our guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a few things, which I feel is the mark of a great tour! The coffee was... More

We spent a week on the Big Island of Hawaii and couldn't wait to purchase some Kona Coffee. Just came upon Kona Joe's our first day on the island. The people were so friendly and they had many kinds of coffee to try. We did not take the tour but felt like we received one from just talking with Raphael... More
