Getting to the plantation wasn't difficult. The view alone of The Kona region is worth it. But you're treated to walking around and sampling Kona coffee. For a fee they offer a tour of the facility. On the tour they'll explain how the beans go from tree to grounds. A must if you're a coffee lover and want to experience... More

Loved being able to taste all different kinds of coffee. Was able to ship coffee home free of charge because we bought a lot.

The tour was extremely educational and a most unique process of growing the beans. Coffee was the smoothest I have ever tasted. We sent home quite a few big bags of the medium roast and will always cherish our visit there. Simply put, it is heaven right here on good ole mother Earth!

We visited Kona Joe's coffee plantation while we were on a longer tour that was conducted by KapohoKine Adventures. We were intrigued by Kona Joe's technique of training his coffee trees to grow on trellises like grape vines. It is also a lovely place to eat lunch because it overlooks gardens and orchards. I highly recommend a visit to Kona... More

The self guided tour is quick and easy. Giving you an insight to the coffee making process. Very friendly staff and a spectacular view of the farm and coast. Grab a cup or three and just enjoy where you are.

This is a modern take on coffee farming. with a nice attractive display/sampling area. Not easy to find but worth the effort. Nice folks who will answer your questions. Pretty good coffee too.

We truly enjoyed the samples of coffee. The coffee was delicious. Our guide was very knowledgeable about how the coffee is grown and her descriptions paint wonderful palate pictures in your mind that help you make sense of why each coffee tastes the way it does. The views from all over the farm, are absolutely stunning. If you're in Kona... More
