Going to Kona Joe's Coffee was an absolute delight even though I don't even drink coffee. Judy was amazing & I ended up walking out with 3 huge bags. A GREAT experience, would highly recommend it. Next time I go over, I'll be having breakfast at the cafe & picking up more coffee. Maholo!

Went "upcountry" to get out of the heat and found this coffee plantation. Great coffee you can sample! We ate at their restaurant and enjoyed the food and views! Had planned on doing the tour but spent so much time just enjoying the scenery we passed. Great deals in the "tasting" room. Bought coffee as gifts for everyone we needed... More

This was an interesting tour where we learned that darker roasted coffee beans have less caffeine than more lightly roasted beans, and that raw beans have the most caffeine of all. We enjoyed the store and the free samples.

We went on many excursions while cruising the Hawaiian island recently. Visiting Kona Joe's Coffee was one of our favorites. The setting is spectacular and they treated us to a cup of fresh brewed coffee as we soaked in the view of the ocean and surrounding hillside. Bruno was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and carefully explained the... More

We participated in a tour at the Kona Joe coffee plantation while on vacation in Hawaii. This tour really gave us a new appreciation for coffee! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and we felt like experts on coffee when we left. We learned about their entire process, and we got a free mug and a cup of coffee when we... More

Tasting Kona coffee and coffee tours are a fun thing to do while visiting the Big Island. But Kona Joe Coffee isn't the best option. They charge for their tour. We found the staff to be anything but friendly. You even needed a key to use the restroom. For our taste the coffee wasn't anything special either. Go to Greenwell... More

I consider myself a coffee snob, I would rather go without coffee than have a ordinary cup of any other coffee. Most coffees need milk and / or sugar to enhance the taste of the coffee. The exception to this is "Kona Joe Coffee" This is the only coffee in the world that tastes great even without milk and or... More

On the mountainside overlooking the coffee plantation down to the lava fields and the ocean in the distance, this was a great place to stop for lunch while on a long drive. The coffee is great - I absolutely recommend the Peaberry coffee. Delicious!

I had a great time visiting this plantation. It's a different way of growing coffee and their guided tour was really cool. The view from their farm is amazing. I by chance just drove by and stopped. The staff were super friendly and I enjoyed a nice cup of Joe! Would go back here again as it was so nice.
