My husband and I stumbled onto Kona Joe Coffee en route to the Volcanoes National Park. What a happy surprise! The location is simply breathtaking. From the patio and the store, one can see the coffee plantation grounds and the beautiful ocean. We bought an assortment of 1# bags of medium roast, creme brule (outstanding!), and others, then ordered brewed... More

The tour, the view, and the coffee exceeded my expectations. Bruno, our tour guide, was friendly, informative, and very helpful. I particularly appreciated his explanations and tips on storing and making coffee to ensure you get the best cup.

Thank you for taking the time to stop at our farm and posting a review. We at Kona Joe are always trying to produce the best coffee our farm can, but it's true that small mistakes at home, like how you storage your coffee or how you brewed, can ruin the amazement of drinking a great coffee. I'm glad you... More

Thank you for taking the time to stop at our farm and post a review. On September 17th of 2003 Joseph Alban was granted with the Trellis patent for coffee trees. Since then we are the only one's in the world producing coffee like wine. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the property. More

We visited Kona Joe's as part of our 2 week vacations and had a great time! Maria from Spain was our tourguide and she was so much knowledgeable and fun! Views just breathtaking. Best tour we did in Big Island.

We came in some time when there was almost nobody except us and, which was bad for us as we were hungry, the restaurant was closed. However, we had a cup of good expresso (you can buy it there if you don't want free americano) and the view was just lovely, so well worth visiting.

Excellent tour showing how coffee made from the bean to the package--they do much by hand! Great tasting coffee sample too. Interesting for all ages. Enjoyed sampling their coffee on the lanai overlooking the ocean.

It's a pretty place to visit but, it's not the best coffee on the island. They charge $15 for a tour and they have a large and pricey gift shop. They do have an actual coffee bar/cafe where you can get a full drink and sit and look out on the ocean. I would go to Greenwells for the coffee... More
