This classic resort golf course features several notable holes. The part three across the bay to the green on the other side is probably the most famous. However, the longer par three down the hill to the edge of the cliff may be a little more challenging to judge. The course provides a variety of holes and shots, most providing... More

This is apparently the big islands best and toughest course and you can see why. It's incredibly picturesque and seriously challenging from the back tees. Worth every cent of the $180 fee - in fact it's a bargain at that price. Spectacular course on a beautiful beach. The. 273 par 3 over the cliff is just mind blowing. Even playing... More

It wasn't cheap to tee-off there but it sure was the most enjoyable round we have had for the week, spectacular scenery, wonderful layouts with great condition throughout, friendly and helpful staff; a must play course when golfing in Kona.

The course has a beautiful challenging but fair layout, with amazing views. The course was not crowded so the place of play was very good. It is not an inexpensive round, but it is worth the price or try playing at twilight if it is not in your budget. Either way you will not be disappointed.

This course was a pleasure to play. Lots of space for bad shots, not crowded so the pace of play was good and the views range from spectacular ocean vistas to mountain side villas. If you can avoid the bunkers. Most are typical Faldo type bunkers, deep with good sand, but difficult to get out of. Still, they are part... More

I had the course to myself and took advantage of a considerably lower than average rate, which was offered via the resort's website for later in the day options. The course was quiet, but the staff was reasonably attentive and the facilities were very comfortable. The course was in great shape and I determined my pace of play. Good course... More

I have played this world class and difficult course about 75 times now on our many trips to the Big Island. It remains in near-perfect condition (and I am a very picky single-digit handicap private course snob) with wonderful undulating greens and views. You must play it! Be ready for some slow play as there is no longer a ranger... More

Had wanted to play here some 5 years ago just after they reopened but their green fee was ridiculous. Reality has now set in somewhat and if you purchase a package it is more in line. As usual I went with the GolfHawaiiCard and was able to purchase a 5 pack which included two rounds at Hapuna and three at... More
