We have visited the big island many times and enjoyed the Kona coffee they are famous for, but never before had visited a plantation. Hula Daddy was great fun. Really cool building that was built around an amazing antique clock that was fascination to watch in operation, especially on the hour. The hosts on staff were extremely friendly and generous... Stopped here for a tour while exploring the Kona area. Friendly owner, dogs and staff. Educational tour included orchard and roasting room. Free tasting. Delicious smooth 100% Kona coffee. Don't recommend buying the chocolate covered coffee beans, they will look like a lava rock after an afternoon in the car! Coffee beans traveled well and each delicious sip brings memories... More

Came here based on reviews, admittedly on a rainy day. The people are very nice and friendly. They love their product and are quite enthusiastic. Regrettably, they do not have one decaf coffee at all. Not one. So for someone who drove 45 minutes to get here, much of what the experience was about was lost. Not being able to... More

Aloha We are sorry you wasted your time looking for decaffeinated coffee at Hula Daddy. If you would have called we have told you we don't sell decaf and suggested you try Walmart or the ABC store, where they do sell decaf. The reason that we don't sell decaf is purely quality. In the words of CoffeeReview.com (August 2015) "most decaffeinated... More

Of the many coffee farms that we visited, Hula Daddy had the best quality beans and the best taste out of all of them. There is a tour that you can take, but make sure that you get a bag to go - you can't replicate the taste with anything else. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful, and we... More

Nearing the end of our time in Kona my wife and I visited Hula Daddy Kona Coffee for a tour of their farm. The staff there were friendly and were quick to offer us some freshly brewed coffee. Well we enjoyed our testers while we learned about the farm. We went on a tour where we were educated on everything... More

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not a coffee drinker. However, I stop by Hula Daddy Kona Coffee every time I'm on the Big Island to pick up gifts for family/friends. In sum, this is a wonderful boutique coffee plantation, run by friendly and gracious people! As many of you know, Kona coffee is considered to be some... More

This is a boutique coffee plantation. It's small but they know what they are doing. Give their dark roast coffee a try. They roast with the husk on for this variety and adds a very unique flavor to your Kona coffee experience.

Nestled along the Kona coffee growing region on the Big Island this growing operation is very nicely kept, is educational and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Yo ucan tour the plantation and see the coffee cuping and roasting operation. The gift store offers coffee and other related items.

An interesting free tour is offered every hour, including coffee tasting and tasting of a special tea they make. The coffee is delicious and it should be at prices from $16 to $65 a pound. Hula Daddy is a relative newcomer to the coffee scene with a delicious product and welcoming air for all visitors.

Our guide book recommended a visit to this coffee plantation, along with several others on the island. Other farms were booked solid for tours, so our group of three decided to drop in to Hula Daddy on the off-chance that there would be room for us in one of their guided tours. As luck would have it, only one couple... More
