We toured Hula Daddy in Feb. 2015 after reading the reviews on TA. Its all true, the faint coffee smell as you drive up, the amazing view, the free coffee. We got a taste of $75 dollar a pound coffee, though personally I enjoy Dunkin Donuts (I know, sacrilegious!!!). I was most impressed with a line our tour guide had... More

This visit is an easy drive from anywhere in Kona. I came down from the Four Seasons, but it's very near Kailua Kona. If you would like to see a small coffee operation that states its mission as sparing no expense to make the best coffee in the world, you have found it. There is a free, short guided tour... More

This Tour and coffee was by far the best experience of multiple tours we have had while in Kona. The tour guide Hana was personable ,interactive, knowledgeable. Hana made everyone feel comfortable, welcome ,and important.Hula daddy is fortunate to have such high quality staff. The owner's passion for quality has indeed been actualized in some of the best coffee I've ever tasted!

They grow ..harvest...dry and roast......at Hula Daddy KONA coffee. They do it all! You won't find it at the grocery store. It's sold online or at the business only. It's worth every penny! But the aroma is free.

my family has been going to Hula Daddy for years now, and this was my first trip... the team is exceptionally friendly, knowledgable and kind. I took the tour and had a great time with Liz - the tour was informative and the conversation delightful. as one reviewer pointed out, the coffee is pricey...but the coffee is priced based on... Very informative without being excessively lengthy. Our 11 year old son enjoyed it, as did we. Enjoyed the product so much that we purchased some.

Smells amazing when you pull up. Amazing views! Got to learn the history, walk the plantation and see the actual process of roasting. Nice to see everything done by hand with love and care

This was a total surprise: me and my brother had time to kill on Kona side so decided to go to this coffee plantation. We arrived just in time for free tour and were led on a tour of a small, unique, owner-operated plantation where no expense has been spaired to produce unique, world-class coffee (they won the 2014 Kona... We stopped at Hula Daddy based on other reviews. We were not disappointed! We arrived at opening time and approached by incredibly friendly Mary. She was the best! Her knowledge about the coffee growing process and types of beans/roasts was very informative and fun. She told us about the owners, how they got started, and the progress they've made with... More
