I've been drinking coffee for 37 years and had never thought about where it comes from. I know what I like to taste, and dark, burnt beans aren't it. I've always liked the taste of Kona coffee, but never understood why. Thanks to our knowledgeable and friendly guide at Hula Daddy, I now understand. The samples were generous and tasty,... More

What I like about this place is their ETHICS they pay their pickers by the hour, and not by the pound like so many other coffee plantations. Really amazing view from inside, and very kind people working there.

We were there all on our own so got the tour guide to ourselves. She answered all the questions we had about coffee, how it grows and how it is processed. It was a fascinating insight into the production of coffee. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic about the process. Yes, the coffee is very expensive but the quality... More

We have toured many coffee plantations. We know what we like in a good coffee. Hula Daddy's is by far the best Kona Coffee. Their tour was superb, staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Mary, who gave the tour was very passionate about the coffee. It shows in the staff how proud they are of the establishment and the... More

They were very warm and welcoming, and the tour was the perfect amount of time, about 30 minutes. Very informative, and perfect for a cloudy day. They describe the farms history and then walk down to the field and show the trees before showing you the roaster, followed by more coffee tasting!

My daughter and son in law came with my husband and myself to Hawaii. One of the things on their bucket list was visiting a coffee farm. They both love coffee. We came across Hula Daddy's while doing research. I am so glad we did. This was a hidden gem of a coffee farm in Kona. It is not over... More

We found Hula Daddy in an Internet search and since they were close to where we were staying, we drove up the hill for a tour. My daughter and I were the ONLY 2 in our "tour group" which was GREAT and our tour guide was amazing. She took her time, answered all our questions and taught us a lot... More
