My husband and I were able to get a Jeep with 4WD. We took the Saturday afternoon tour up Mauna Kea and could peak into one of the Keck Telescopes at the top. Definitely go to Mauna Kea's visitor center and learn about the history of the mountain and the astronomy research being done. Plus, the views are breath-taking (well... More
