We had a great time on our first zip line experience. If you at all thinking about zip lining, do it!
The guides were friendly and knowledgable. And the bathrooms were the cleanest on the island. Go enjoy yourself, have fun.

Rather than either miss seeing the glow from the volcano or having to drive back in the dark, we opted to take a tour. Higher rated companies were booked up and the concierge booked us with these folks. Such a mistake.
First they arrived late and said they had tried to reach us. They couldn't have tried very hard as...

Lots of interesting stops. Tour guide Cody/Coty was a very personable and engaging guy who talked just the right amount to keep us interested without wishing he'd shut up. Great stops on the tour, lots of superficial trivia from Cody with good depth available should you have follow up questions. We are satisfied with our choice of tour companies.

When I went on this tour I had no idea what to expect. It was reccomended by a friend of mine. It was one of the best day trips of my stay in Hawaii. Our guide Cody was so knowledgeable and very entertaining. He stopped at so many places and did not rush us and we saw so much. He...

My sister and I enjoyed this tour so much! We felt like it was our own personal "insider" look at life in Hawaii and walked away wanting to move there! Our guide, Steve, was so incredibly engaging and entertaining - it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend and seeking out the most amazing private spots on...

When you vacation in Hawaii, there is so much to see and do, and not enough time to do it all. Therefore, it sometimes makes sense to let "experts" do the driving and the guiding. Other times it makes more sense to do it yourself. When the lava is not flowing at Kilauea, I recommend doing it yourself.
My wife...

We took this tour to see the sites and to see the volcanos. The trip started with an early morning pick up from our hotel. Our group consisted of two honeymoon couples, a family and my husband and I. We saw so many sights on the island, and truly enjoyed seeing the volcanos. The barbecue dinner was nicely done although...

What can I say...lunch was terrible, dinner was about 2 1/2 hrs later, waterfall was not flowing so why take us there?? no backup plans??, drive to volcano and then double back to go to macadamia farm. No tour of the farm, just dinner. Didn't make sense, except they wanted us to buy products. Then drive to black sand beach..couldn't...

Arguably one of the best kept secrets of Puna has to be, well, Secrets of Puna. More than a narrative lore, this is ground zero to seasoned tourists and terrorists alike, i.e. an unabashed homage to the famous, or rather, infamous volcano and fire goddess. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Mt. Kil(l)auea, visitors come face to face with the...
