We only had one day in the park, so we decided to try a bike tour. This proved to be an excellent way to see the volcano and surrounding area. Our tour guides Michael and Pretty were fun to be with, knowledgeable, and passionate about the volcano and the Big Island. They certainly brought a local perspective to the tour.... More

Great way to see the park. You learn a lot about the history of the lava flows. Good picnic lunch by the water at the end of the ride. Would recommend it for people who are in shape. Most of the ride is downhill but the uphill and flat portions were covered VERY quickly by our guide. Felt like I... More

It is hard to put into words what my experience was like. My friends and I had the greatest time. The staff is incredibly friendly and had a lot of interesting stories to tell. The bike ride is beautiful. I recommend bike vulcano!!! You will not regret booking the tour... Not only will you learn a lot, but you will... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our day of biking through Volcano National Park with Pretty and Robbie. The bikes themselves were in good condition, well-fitted to each rider, and comfortable. The riding was not difficult -- two uphill sections that even I could do, and the rest was easy pedaling or coasting. We stopped frequently at various sights and look-outs and both... More

The bike tour of the volcano area was one of the best adventure tours we have participated in. Between Pretty and Robbie, we got a thorough introduction into the myths and facts of the big island volcanos. Robbie and Pretty were very knowledgable as to the Hawaiian myths and the scientific facts of the area. It was very enjoyable, and... More

Thank you Pretty and Robbie, for the hawaiian stories, the snacks, the lunch, endless hydration and a memorable and enjoyable bike ride from volcano steam vents, rain forest, lava tube, sea caves, cobra curves, and celebrity talk! Everyone this is a fun fun must!

We had a nice time on our tour, but it was a little tame for our tastes. If you are a cyclist, this will certainly not scratch your itch to ride. The cycling part of our 5-hour tour started an hour into the day, and ended a couple of hours later. So we only spent a couple of hours actually... More

The ride itself was great but the stops, tour guides, information and picturesque places made it an overall fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend this ride for a Hawaii adventure where you get to learn about the volcano history as well.

This is a great way to see Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Our driver Pretty and tour guide Alexis were extremely cool people. Pretty picked us up at the Hilo Hawaiian hotel and we rode about 30 minutes to Volcanoes National Park. There we picked up tour guide Alexis. The tour and biking began at the Jaggar Museum. The biking is... More
