Alexis led the tour and while she was new to this tour here previous experience and knowledge was quite clear backed up by Caleb and Prudy it was quite enjoyable. Its not too exhausting considering I havent been to the gym in 9 months i survived the "3" hill climbs. Good company and great views.

What a great way to see the park. The sites are very memorable and awe-inspiring. The trip is very doable, so don't be afraid! If you reach a point where you tire, Pretty will help you load the bike up and be a passenger in the van until you feel ready again. There are three slightly uphill portions that are... More

Both Caleb & Purdy make this a great adventure. This as the first visit for us to the islands. They took great care of us and what a way to see the park! We did the 1/2 day ride and it when great,, had to to ride in the follow van with Purdy on the big hill, due to my... More

First of all, as long as you can ride a bike you can do this trip. This is the only way to see this area in that you are not fighting traffic to make the many stops required to see the entire area well. The staff where truly still in awe of the spectacle themselves (especially Caleb) and their positive... More

We did the half day tour with pretty and Caleb. Both were fantastic. Caleb was very well versed with facts, told us lots of interesting facts ( which we would not have got had we wandered the park ourselves), made sure we were all safe and followed park rules and above all he had a wonderful attitude! Pretty followed in... More

Just finished an all day bike tour with Bike Volcano. Perdy(sp) and Caleb formed a great team with Perdy driving shuttle and support and Caleb leading the biking. 13 in the group made for an intimate day. Perdy and Caleb were both very knowledgeable about the Park and the lore surrounding the volcanoes. It was safety first but the ride... More

We didn't take a tour with Bike Volcano, but when we found our rental car's battery had died, the woman waiting at the end of the Chain of Craters Road gave us a jump-start. If that's how they treat people not on one of their tours, we can only imagine how well they treat those touring with them. Mahalo, guys!

Pretty and Caleb were amazing! They were so informative, and knowledgeable and made our day through the volcano a day to remember! The bikes and equipment were all in great shape, and they were comfortable. We loved the fact that you bike a bit, stop, learn about your surroundings, and then continue to the next area. You were able to... More

We drove two hours from our hotel in Kona to attend a half-day tour. My group consisted of a variety of levels from my cyclist husband who regularly rides 20+ miles, myself (some knowledge of biking), 50 something year old aunt and 62 - year-old mom, who don't typically ride. Despite the differences in our skills, we all felt we... More

On a recent trip to the Big Island, we had the opportunity to stay on each side of the island. With the heavy rains on the Hilo, the bike ride around the volcano was a great option. Although we were disappointed that we weren't able to go on the full day adventure (because there were not enough takers), we thoroughly... More
