We booked this tour to have a thrill on our holiday. Well not having ridden a bike for a few years it was a real thrill. I would suggest this is the only way to see the park. Pretty our van driver was great support and very knowledgable on the history of The island and its volcanoes. Ninoah (hoping I... More

Overall we had a good time on this tour. Our guide and the lady that drives the van were both nice. Riding a bike is a nice way to see the park as it is a large park that is spread out. My favorite part was going downhill on the snake like roads at a fast pace. Another nice part... More

Boy, were pleasantly surprised and got way more than we paid for. Our tour guides were superb, the experience was priceless, a moderate bike ride with one kick ___ hill, beautiful sights, a little rain and a picnic, from summit to sea sums it up nicely. We would do this again..and again, absolutely a must see.

I highly recommend doing a bike tour to see the park. This tour takes you to see all the highlights, and the guides are helpful. Their bikes are older and not in the best shape so you may have some issues but nothing the guides can't fix for you.

"Pretty", "MZ"and "N" were wonderful hosts and guides during our biking excursion in Volcano National Park. Seeing Jagger Museum, the lush tropical coastal jungles of Kilauea’s East Rift Zone and of course Kilauea volcano was a one of a kind trip via bicycle. The support van offered plenty of cold water and snacks. Lunch (via a drive in the van)... More

The guides were great. The lady following us in the van (he called her Pretty) really took care of us. When we got off the bikes at stops, she checked the bikes for water, etc. After the biking (13 miles maybe, mostly down hill, nothing strenuous) we rode in the van to the water front. Would have loved to do... More

We thank you for your response and appreciate your feedback. However, there are a couple of misperceptions in your review of Bike Volcano's Full Day Bike Adventure of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park: 1) The tour consists of 15 miles of biking; 2) The time in the van is not greater than the biking time. Biking time is approximately: 2 1/2... More

Enjoyed the views of the crater, tour operators are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The bike ride is 90% down hill, with plenty of catch up stops and photo opportunity. Snacks were kept until the end of the ride for us so we were starving after three hours, suggest take a snack with you. All equipment is supplied including a rain... More

Before we started the ride, I was concerned the full day was more than I could handle. I used to ride those kind of distances, but I used to not suit at a desk 12 hours a day. I was pleasantly surprised. Our guides were welcoming hosts, knowledgeable, fun, and enjoy teaching about Hawaiian culture and history as we rode.... More

Michael and Pretty were our tour guides. They did a great job of entertaining and educating us on the amazing history of the islands and volcanos. The tour itself wasn't too physically demanding and we stopped at plenty of great vantage points for photos. I was surprised at how much distance we covered, but being 90% downhill made a fun...
