Coconut Island is attached to the mainland via a small bridge. It is a very small park with benches and grassy areas. There is not much to see except it gives a view across the bay. There are signs on the coconut trees to watch out for falling coconuts and fronds. More

Good place to snorkel but not a wide variety of marine life to view. Mini sand beaches. Perfect shade to no-shade ratio. Good picnic spot. Not crowded on weekdays. More

This is a neat little green space on an island in Hilo bay, the best part was the high water marks showing the hight of the last 4 Tsunamis that have devestated Hilo. Awe inspiring. More

A small island with a little tidepool for kiddos to chase after fish and a nice large park area. We came here for a walk but thought had we planned ahead it would have been quite nice to picnic. More
